the one nephew was doing woodworking but was never successful until bethel offered him a job doing signs for halls as well as making cabinets and podiums.
once he got the job he then went out and bought a cnc machine which is computerized.

Once he got the job he then went out and bought a CNC machine which is computerized. You punch the design into the computer and the machine cuts out the shape. At that time these machines were very expensive. His cousin (the other nephew to Andre) had a trade in masonry but he overcharged himself right out of work. His two brothers predicted that would happen and it did. ( both nephews had a bad reputation for overcharging) So bethel hires him and his wife to do parking lots at the halls.
These two men had major drinking problems with their sons following in their same shoes. The two sons from the one brother got the boot out of bethel when someone sent in pictures of them in the nude wearing makeup.
Bethel would know of this since it's not that big (at that time there were under four hundred working there)and yet these two bum elders get jobs as well as get paid for them. When we were doing a service for bethel, we were told that the bethel doesn't care how much they have to pay for a service or product provided it's good and if it's a brother then that's a bonus. So they can name their price and no questions asked. I now see that the word "bonus" has more than one meaning for certain individuals.

Library now cleared out
by UnshackleTheChains inwell, it looks like the axe has finally fallen on our kh library.
during a deep clean of the local kh, a brother suddenly informed everyone 'whikst cleaning' that all the old books including bound volumes of the watchtower etc was to be chucked in the skip.. from what i heard, some were taken aback by this and quite annoyed that no announcement was made; that no one was given the choice of taking some of these books home to keep.
i mean the entire collection of studies in the scriptures and others that go back an entire century.

by The Fall Guy inas all jw's and awakened ex-jw's know, the very existence of the religion is dependent on people's belief that the "holy trinity" of the wtbts, the ccojw, and the governing body (aka the organization) were personally selected by god/christ.. 1) mr. rutherford claimed that this divine choosing occurred circa 1919, and that all anointed members were personally chosen by god/christ to be the faithful slave.
2) in 2013 this long-held, "profound scriptural truth" was discarded by apostates in brooklyn (the present-day governing body) when they personally decided that only gb members were chosen by god/christ to be the faithful slave.

Didn't they change the fds again and said it only materializes when the gb members come together to discuss something. I thought they did this for court appearance. Yet they also claim they are not directed by holy spirit. And didn't their in house lawyer claim it was only an entity? She said that right in court. It was on this site that I read these. I often wonder what happened to The Searcher, Mary and Leola and Outlaw. These were the ones that could biblically go up against the org's doctrine and that's what got me out. But this site has changed. Not so much of that anymore and a whole lot more of arguments. Sad for any lurkers wanting out. Hope these ones come back

And now brother so and so who is an elder/ pioneer serving in so and so congregation. Everytime they would introduce a brother for his next part at an assembly. That is where they forgot the scripture do not let the right hand know what the left hand is doing. Do not go boasting before man scripture.

Do elders still ask inactive members to write a letter to disassociating yourself from the Congregation?
by RULES & REGULATIONS indo today's elders ever meet with inactive members and pressure them to write a letter disassociating themselves from the congregation stating that, ''you no longer wish to a jehovah witness"?.
i was baptized at the young age of 16. after turning 18, i stopped attending meetings, field service, and all jehovah's witness activities.
i wanted to be with my high school friends, go to rock concerts, have a girlfriend, and live like a normal teen.

I had called Bethel in Georgetown On and told them I no longer wanted to be a member and the brother told me I would have to write a letter. I told him no I don't and that I will do it my way. He asked me for my name and what congregation I was from and I told him. A week later my name was mentioned from the platform. No one can make me do anything I don't want to do ever again!

This is sad for the entire family. I cannot imagine what all of them are going through at this time. His sister knew how we got the boot out of the org and still wanted to remain there for me so she would email off and on. Now when I want to be there for her and her family they are not picking up their phone or replying back through email.
How sad for Courtney and his wife Helene to think the last picture in their mind of their mom and siblings will be all their sad shocked faces. I sure do hope his sister who was there for us would also be there for her brother and his wife.
I want to thank you for the pm's and all the kindness and generosity at this time. One had mentioned setting up a go fund me however I would like to know where and how they are doing before that is done.
Again everyone thank you for your love, something we never learnt when we were jw's.
