Prayer BANNED for Public Talks in KH's...

w50 3/15 p. 96 letters - "jesus held many public lectures, but there is no record that he opened or closed any of them with prayer....surely those of the public who are not of the christian faith do not turn out to our meetings in order to join with us in prayer to our god, but solely to hear the speech which is the drawing feature.
so we give them that and do not think to impose upon them by attaching something else to the lecture which might offend or stumble them before they hear the speech they came for.

Unbelievable! Wish there were more posts like this posted. It's posts like these that will make the jws want to do more research. It did us and we know for a certainty there are others that are in doing the same.

Does that mean you discontinue your studies with your children? What about those fifteen minute studies? What about those doorstep studies? Just maybe they have too many "studies" on their hands and want to keep all their wannabe studies and get rid of their potential studies.

nice to review how one of the "faithful snakes" slithered when he was captive to being questioned.. at 40 seconds, he is asked to swear an oath - and he swears on the bible.
obviously jesus' words slipped his mind: matthew 5:34-37 - "however, i say to you: do not swear at all, neither by heaven.....nor by earth,.... just let your word ‘yes’ mean yes, your ‘no,’ no, for what goes beyond these is from the wicked one.

When I watched this video I didn't realize the flaws until you pointed them out. I guess I need to be more spiritually critical and keep on the watch as they would claim. Keep up the great work, my friend:)

the one nephew was doing woodworking but was never successful until bethel offered him a job doing signs for halls as well as making cabinets and podiums.
once he got the job he then went out and bought a cnc machine which is computerized.

Once he got the job he then went out and bought a CNC machine which is computerized. You punch the design into the computer and the machine cuts out the shape. At that time these machines were very expensive. His cousin (the other nephew to Andre) had a trade in masonry but he overcharged himself right out of work. His two brothers predicted that would happen and it did. ( both nephews had a bad reputation for overcharging) So bethel hires him and his wife to do parking lots at the halls.
These two men had major drinking problems with their sons following in their same shoes. The two sons from the one brother got the boot out of bethel when someone sent in pictures of them in the nude wearing makeup.
Bethel would know of this since it's not that big (at that time there were under four hundred working there)and yet these two bum elders get jobs as well as get paid for them. When we were doing a service for bethel, we were told that the bethel doesn't care how much they have to pay for a service or product provided it's good and if it's a brother then that's a bonus. So they can name their price and no questions asked. I now see that the word "bonus" has more than one meaning for certain individuals.

Library now cleared out
by UnshackleTheChains inwell, it looks like the axe has finally fallen on our kh library.
during a deep clean of the local kh, a brother suddenly informed everyone 'whikst cleaning' that all the old books including bound volumes of the watchtower etc was to be chucked in the skip.. from what i heard, some were taken aback by this and quite annoyed that no announcement was made; that no one was given the choice of taking some of these books home to keep.
i mean the entire collection of studies in the scriptures and others that go back an entire century.

2) in 2013 this long-held, "profound scriptural truth" was discarded by apostates in brooklyn (the present-day governing body) when they personally decided that only gb members were chosen by god/christ to be the faithful slave.

Didn't they change the fds again and said it only materializes when the gb members come together to discuss something. I thought they did this for court appearance. Yet they also claim they are not directed by holy spirit. And didn't their in house lawyer claim it was only an entity? She said that right in court. It was on this site that I read these. Maybe someone can find it
