by Seeker ini've been a bit short with people today in the forums, and i shouldn't have been quite so abrupt.
i get frustrated when i see exjws make the same mistake and join up with political groupthink just as they used to join with governing body groupthink.

in saudi arabia, the custom for women in public is that they wear an abaya, a floor-length, long-sleeve, loose-fitting garment that covers everything but the face.
air force lt. col. martha mcsally filed a lawsuit against the pentagon, arguing that the policy was discriminatory because men are not required to dress in traditional muslim garments.. when interviewed on sixty minutes, mcsally was so offended by the garment that she would not put it on just to demonstrate what it looked like.

Well, there were some contradictions here to think about.
The military men were told NOT to wear Muslim garb off base.That jeans and a sport shirt were appropriate.
The Saudi govt does NOT require non-Muslim women to wear the abaya.The State Dept. officials(female) do not wear the abaya on official business.They are told not to because they represent the American Govt.
So why should they have tried to force this on female deployed military personnel? Do 'all' military personnel NOT represent the American Govt?
McSally,besides the obvious military double standard also objected on religious reasons. As this is a requirement of islamic law. She is a Christian.

The violent attacks on clinics,volunteers and health-care workers continues.Every month clinics are subject to firebombs .have been the recipients of anthrax scares,etc.An average of 12 violent attacks have occurred each month since 1992-yet most people are unaware of this terrorism because it receives so little media attention.
Ashcroft and other officials are questioning a program developed by the CDC that help parents talk to their children about sex.Why? because it includes info in contraception and disease prevention.
