now out of all of them, if you could pick and mix, which ones would you like to see together forming a pop band of their day, what tracks would they be performing, what genre of music and dare i ask for some lyrics, though i'm not sure if thats a permissable question, (oops, sorry god).

Needless to say, peter paul and mary were all time greats, but I thought Noah and The Revelations would be a good one, w/guest rapper Rhymin Simon...might sing "I Want to Love You 40 Days and 40 Nights", the gay anthem "Sodom and Gomorrah Swansong", and "I Wanne See Your Pharisee". I thought it was a great read, and very interesting to see the evolution of the org from the top. The most disturbing part was the malawi/mexico stance and what it led to. How anyone could let people die over such a trivial thing as a party card is rediculous. Just like so many other situations, old white men telling everyone else what to do and calling it Dog's word. Who cares what the minorities and women have to say, as long as it comes from the divine channel....

we too have a fraternity, a brotherhood, gods family is what we are, and if anyone dishonors the congregation by conduct unbecoming a minister of god, shunning, or disfellowshipping as we call it, is gods means to deal with such ones.. q 7: how can a person isolate themselves if you chose to knock on peoples doors outside your religion?

You Know, the Greek derivative for apostate intimates "one who is against those taking a stand". Taking a stand for what? Like any group of fanatics the stance is almost always one of elitism..i.e. "we're the only ones who get to live forever on a paradise earth", totally disregarding beliefs that existed way before christianity and will exist long after it goes away. As well, JWs make no distinction between heresey and apostacy, as there is no room for anything that remotely resembles scholarly debate about principle or biblical verse. Anyone who diagrees is always labelled an apostate. Kind of like one big happy police state family. . You must be a to boot, because no JW would become a police officer, there is the small matter of saluting the flag, taking an oath and wearing a uniform. You can keep on thinking that disfellowshiping doesn't ruin families and friendships, but give it a try and see what happens.

i was always very close to my aunt and her eldest daughter especially.

.That works well for old testament, but new testament is ripe w/warnings against the use of drugs by people of dog..and assuming things were supposed to change with advent of christianity..hmm small play on words..sorry, then the old testament became non sequitor. Even the admonition to dog's new people about eating certain things forbidden under Jewish law became apparent Acts 11: 5-9.The greek for drug use is pharmakia, meaning general use of drugs.
The following verses make some mention of drug use in general, such as trying to slip jesus a mickey while on the cross, etc...

Injured at Bethel--then what?
by LDH infor 'lookin' who stated in another thread that he was asked to leave bethel after 8 years because he was injured.. is there any form of worker's comp if you are injured at bethel?
is there any disability insurance if you are disabled?.
how does this whole thing work?.

I think a lawsuit is in order with lots and lots of discovery forced on WT by the plaintiff. Itv would be interesting to see how many revealing questions they could be forced by court to answer. I doubt it would be hard to find negligence on their part. Does anybody know if any kind of contractual agreement is entered by Bethelites and the WT?
