i've been invited to my boss's birthday party and i cannot think of what to get him.
please give me some suggestions.
to help you out, here is a little bit about him.. he's a christian, doesn't drink, loves to fish and boat, likes frogs and a really nice guy.
one thing you can never go wrong with is a good utility knife. One w/a pair of pliers and other gadgets attached might cost $10-20 for a decent one w/a belt attachment. Leatherman makes really good ones, not that I'm suggesting that particular brand because they are expensive, but it could give you a clue as to what I'm talking about.

well, if you want to get the top price for something it's best to sell when there is a lot of interest and things are in vouge / in fashion .... with all the recent media attention i reckon it is the perfect time to sell off the royal family!
the americans would probably take them off our hands and i reckon we could get a good price ... texas or something in return.
for sale: one royal family.
Simon, then we could buy Florida and go diving into those lovely apostate scuba sisters...I meant diving with really.....I like the theme park idea...we could have rides...
The Bible History Slide: World's Largest Slippery Slope
Blood Issue Mountain: Made From a Molehill
Plato's Cave: A Must Ride For All JW Families
The Prophet: World's Longest, Up & Down, Back & Forth, Roller Coaster Ride

a post made by alanf just made me remember about going to restaraunts with dubs.for the most part they don`t like to tip.my parents and the dubs they went out with were not poor people.my mom would have a fit if she saw my dad tip.most dubs i knew were the same way.did the dubs you were around, like to tip?...outlaw
In Dallas there was a brother who ran what you could call a diner/greasy spoon. We would always go there after service and eat. His daughters, also the waitresses were all cute Hispanic sisters and yummmmmeee...They always got good tips! So yummy in fact a long time MS tipped one of them so well she got pregnant and became his wife after they ran off together....his wife went crazy, the one he left that is... but at least doing business with JWs gets you somewhere....

Simon, I'll take the royals off your hands...will you accept Paypal? I thought perhaps I would dip them in wax and charge admission.....Question: Would you move Texas or just move to Texas? Either way, our Apostafests would be way more fun., except when its 103 degrees and a heat index of 113 that is.
One question I have is about what Prince Albert did, might have my princes mixed up, apollogies!? That declined the throne to mary a commoner? Well my question is, could all of the monarchy step down and just walk away, or would that violate some law?

does anyone know anything about this organization, aside from the fact that jimmy carter is somehow associated with them?
i'm considering doing some volunteer work for them, but don't know really know much about them.
i believe they are "faith-based", which i'm not necessarily keen on, but they get people into houses and bypass government red tape, which i do like.
og, indeed I am.
They have done a lot of good in Dallas... BTW I doubt you would find JWs engaged in anything so humane and good for those in need.

HFH is kind of like a clearing house for charitable works that surround refurbishing delapidated homes, or building homes for people who have never lived in a house per se. They have rebuilt or just plain given peole new homes here in the Dallas area. Mostly very poor and the elderly. In many places HFH works with religious orgs, totally non religious entities , or a mix of both. You were right about being religious though..a quote from their website's mission statement:
Statement of Purposehttp://www.habitat.org/privacy/This Web site is an educational and informational electronic publication of Habitat for Humanity International. Its purpose is to share the story of Habitat for Humanity's house-building, hope-building work around the world and to invite interested online visitors to be part of those efforts. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God's people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which people can live and grow into all that God intended. We welcome all volunteers who share a vision of a world without shacks.
Not too bad, except all that rabid dog talk.
