Well as you all may or not know i am an M.S and trying to figure all these feeling out. But i have a dilemma, i will be going on a shepherding call with an elder to "help" a family who is discouraged with the people in the hall. I have to admit i feel the same way they do so how can i "encourage" them when i feel the same? Talk about hypocritical.

"Worldly people don't love the same as Jehovah's Witnesses"
by Comatose inin a conversation with my mum she said, "son the friends love you and care about you so much.
they would die for you.
that's something you don't find in the world.

For the last 6 months people in the hall know something is up with me, they just dont know what. I am still serving as an M.S but miss many meetings and have low service hrs. I go to the meetings when i have a part. So in all this time one person actually came to my home to "see how i was doing" but i was at work and that person has not said anything since. I am sure this person did this because i would visit him when few others did. He was old school elder, nothing bothered him, or so he made people think.
So for all the talks and scriptures read about fellow feeling and love, it is an understatement that it needs to be worked on in the organization.

Wow did not see that coming.
by msconcerned inso for a while now i have had some doubts and i have slowly started and had conversations with my wife.
she has kind of conceded very minor points in our conversations, but what i have been seeing is that she is starting to use her brain.
im not insulting my wife, but she is starting to think critically.

I remember not long ago she was so upset that the body wanted her to wait for 3 months before regular pioneering. She had been doing it for 1.5 years until health issues and surgury needed to happen. This conversation was basically when she had suspicions about my doubts. I told her as she was crying about not pioneering and feeling like she let God down, that i was sick of the pressure that is put on the bro's and sis's that we are only "spiritual people" if we have some sort of position. I flat out told her i was glad she was not pioneering, and that God appreciates 5, 8, 10hrs or whatever we can give.
Its funny cause now she will look at me when someone makes a comment that she thinks i disagree with and smiles. That just tells me she is using her thinking abilities.

I have been very careful not to "scare" her, and i do ask her why she has certain thoughts. It's cool to see her really thinking. I myself have never thought about the religion as i have for the last year.

Im not insulting my wife, but she is starting to think critically. She just said this to me....."what would anyone say J.W's are known for? Witnessing right? But what did Jesus say his followers wiuld be identified by? Love among themselves. Hmmm"
That is awsome. Im not really into bashing the W/T but to think about what we do and follow is important.

- “ Test the Inspired Expressions” Consider the good example of certain “noble-minded” people who lived in the city of Beroea in the first century. They “received the word with the greatest eagerness of mind, carefully examining the Scriptures daily as to whether these things [spoken by Paul and Silas] were so.” (Acts 17:10, 11) Yes, while eager to learn, the Beroeans made sure that what they heard and accepted was firmly rooted in the Scriptures.
Today, too, genuine Christians are not influenced by the ebb and flow of popular views but cling firmly to Bible truth. Wrote the apostle Paul: “This is what I continue praying, that your love may abound yet more and more with accurate knowledge and full discernment.”—Philippians 1:9.
If you have not already done so, make it your aim to acquire “accurate knowledge and full discernment” by learning what the Bible really teaches. Those who imitate the Beroeans are not deceived by the “counterfeit words” of antichrists. (2 Peter 2:3) Instead, they are set free by the spiritual truth of the real Christ and his true followers.—John 8:32, 36.
I dont understand this, the scripture clearly shows the beroeans became believers when they examined the teachings of paul and silas. So why is the reference made to words of antichrists?

Let us join them in courageously calling out just what we see—the overwhelming evidence that Christ is ruling in heaven; that he will soon bring an end to mankind’s long, dark night of alienation from God; and that thereafter he will usher in the true dawn, the Millennial Reign over a paradise earth!
