  Is that true?

  The Divine Name does not appear in the Greek Scriptures.

  Is there any evidence for the claim that CTR dismissed JFR from Bethel in early 1915?

  evidence for dismissal of joseph rutherford from bethel in 1915?.

  i recently came across a claim, made somewhere on the internet, that charles russell had dismissed joseph rutherford from bethel in 1915:.

  "joseph franklin rutherford (1861-1942): came from a large calvinist family; formerly a small-town lawyer in missouri; at least once appointed to serve as judge in a case; politically active in democratic politics.

  It could be that Charles Russell simply did not want Rutherford around Bethel anymore.

  If CTR could have stayed alive for a few more years, then it is possible that Rutherford would have been out of the picture as far as taking over running the organization.

  There is also some controversy about Rutherford's name being added to the list of possible successors to Russell in the event of his death.

  I would not put it pass Rutherford to add his name to the list. My understanding is tha he would not allow anyone to examine Russell's last will and testament. One wonders why not.

  2004 Blood Card & Directive!

  i wrote to a jw who has a relative on the hlc.

  the jw got copies of what they are still using which is still dated 2004 at the bottom.

  Now, just one more request, may I inquire what are the physical dimensions of the form?

  Should it be printed on both sides of a regular sized 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, and then folded?

  What sort of paper is it printed on? Heavy weight white paper, or card stock?

  This information from the Moyle libel case does not metion any dismissal of Rutherford by Russell, but it does mention that Rutherford asked for a $1,000 loan from the Society, and that he planned to open a law office in Los Angeles.

  So Rutherford had either left, or was planning to leave, Bethel in the year 1915.

  sept 17, 1862 remains the bloodiest day in us history.

  you have to wonder what might have been if some one other than mcclellan commanded the army of the potomac.

  for a good read on the subject i suggest "landscape turned red" by stephen sears.

  consider the popular jw myth: be careful what you bring home from a yard sale, it might have come from someone who has ties with witchcraft, magic, satan, etc.

  said item thus would be an instrument the demons can use to get into your home and harass you.

  so be careful of that teacup, tennis racket, or shirt you just purchased!.

  His belief in the supersititions is causing the bad dreams. No fictitious demons need be involved.

  Or there could be a medical condition that has developed. Perhaps a checkup is warranted?

  I checked Google for the average Ethiopian income.

  It is about $23 US per month, or $276 US/year.

  Another source gave a figure of $300 US per year.

  The girl in the experience published by The Watchtower was offered a job that paid 3,000 euros a month.

  3,000 euros is currently worth about $3,940 US, or $47,280 US/year.

  This is over 157 TIMES the average Ethiopian income!

  Oh how I wish someone would have pointed that out when that Watchtower article was studied.
