Could someone please tell me which specific talk on what day of the DC contained the crackdown on disfellowshipped/disaasociated ones? It would really help to know, so three days of audio tapes wouldn't have to be slogged through. My parents have the tapes from one of the sisters as they're unable to attend, but they really want to hear that specific talk, as it seems the Society's stance has gotten even more strict. My husband and I are disassociated, and my parents will definitely be affected by this, a time of decision is coming for them I think/pray.

by Gadget ini was at the convention today, and noticed a number of interesting points in the program.. 1cor 10:31; "therefore, whatever you are eating and drinking or doing anything else, do all things to gods glory.
" they said that everything that we do is up to our conscience, but how would what we are doing reflect on jehovah.
at the same time they said jehovah is not a dictator.... "pay more than the usual attention.

BadWillie & Wife are the Local Needs!
by badwillie inlast night's meeting at our congregation was exactly 2 weeks since our public reproof.. my wife was in attendance.
the local needs talk was about...apostasy!.
this of course lets the congregation know exactly what our reproof was for.

Hang in there BW. My hubby & I DA'ed ourselves 2 weeks ago, & have already been the subject of local needs in 2 different halls in two different states! It is hard realizing that those who may have been your best friends, (or so you thought) for more than half your life, are so controlled by the WTB&TS that they'd be willing to walk away from you without a word. We sent out goodbye letters, and one was even sent back to us, marked return to sender! This was supposedly my second closest friend! The silence around here has been deafening, but we're free and that's what matters! Keep praying, studying, and exploring your spirituality, & you'll be blessed.
