  in doing some research, i recently ran across a september 1, 2000 wt article that contained a brother's testimony about his years of service in the organization.. he said, "as we arrived for the meeting one sunday in 1938, two elderly sisters greeted us, and one said: `young brother, have you taken your stand for jehovah yet?

  you know, armageddon is just around the corner!

  ' i knew that jehovah is the only true god, and i was convinced that this is his organization.

  Mr. Flipper Talks with Bethel Legal Service Desk Rep About JW Child Abuse

  well - i had been wanting to do this for a long time , to question a legal department representative at bethel about the child abuse settlements and jw child abuse, since last year when the news came out about it.

  especially since my dad , an elder for years was never aware of it and has on his own taken steps to see that families with children are informed if a former pedophile is in their congregation.

  i was curious as to what the current views and policies in place are .

  Thanks for bringing this back, Flipper. Many new ones or lurkers are still not aware of the extent of the child abuse coverup by jws. This story cannot be repeated enough!

  Everything is back on track

  especially to those who know me in person, i wanted to share with you my joy today.. i spoke today very long with my jw family of my position (away from the org, separated and gay), without any criticism or attack or threat.

  quite an achievement.. why about this change?

  parents age is moving them to see the reality of the situation.

  Nice completion. You made it clear they are worshipping men and they panicked. It's amazing they think all people who don't agree with them must be evil apostates. It never offers to them that some folks actually use their thinking abilities! Very happy you saw through the craziness.

  all my family members and friends (that include some elders) advised me to divorce my wife whose only joy was to pick up fight with me for everything i do, except my grand-mother who said: when you married her, you looked for only her good pointher regular pioneering despite having an opposing family.

  for being good, you will ultimately reap something far better through her.

  Here's another possibility:

  The absolute inner peace that you gain from true meditation brings such a calmness that you actually treat people well. Before this, you were carrying around a giant Hate You flag and just being in your presence was inflammatory. Now that you are calm within yourself, you are pleasant to be around.

  Meditation allows one to be at peace. This makes anyone around you feel good, of course.

  The GB has never promoted Jesus' teachings or example. (Do they even share The Greatest Man book any more?)

  They promote their version of "jehovah" because it works for their purposes. So sure, they teach HATE. And then they point to their fictitious god as an example.

  would you convert to islam if they were holding your head on a ax block, ready to swing the ax or sword to cut your head off?

  we know there are people who died for their political and spiritual values, would you convert to islam to avoid death?

  for atheists, can you justify conversion to preserve life since there is no life after death?

  The problem with ISIS (well, one of them) is that they want the men to fight for them but those men have to give up their wives for use by the soldiers. I somehow, somewhere I thought I'd read that the Koran doesn't bless fornication, much less rape.
