  morales, 19, of cicero, illinois, said she felt sorry every day since july 22, 2013, for what happened next.

  I just wanted to cheer you up.....

  with all the depressing stuff going on in the world, the new is terror threat, poor people dying in the japan volcano, e-bola etc.... i just wanted to share my happiness.. my really horrible neighbours moved away in july this year.

  i had 3 horrendous years living next to them, so bad that i had alopecia!!

  my flat was up for sale but was bought by a investor, who is a good guy and has other properties in my local area.. to celebrate i am going to kefalonia next week, i have wanted to go for 20 years and i'm so excited.. sometimes, you don't always appreciate the good times unless you have troubles to deal with.. thanks for reading.. .

  My Lecturer booby-trapped me - Patterns of Authority in Early Christian Communities

  i have a 2500 word essay due next tuesday, so i shall be invoiced until then.

  and, i already have been turned upside down.. even though there are set topics for the main essay, it is possible to negotiate for an essay on a subject of personal interest.

  i'd been thinking about the development of leadership in the early christian congregation, so i asked my lecturer, if i could write on that.. he asked me for a brief outline of what i was thinking, so i reviewed my early thoughts - that jesus primarily had left no clear instructions (because he was expecting divine intervention and the restoration of the kingdom), but he had trained his disciples in missionary work - which i interpreted to mean that jesus expected his own ministry to continue, to provide the judean people with continued guidance, modelled on what he (jesus) had done.. but as christianity developed (and the expectations of jesus remained unfulfilled) a different model developed and i wanted to explore the model we see developing in the nt (think pauline) and where that model came from and then transformed into the monarchial model with bishops.. .

  Hmmm....so if dinosaurs were created by this almighty-god-person to prepare the world for humans....they are the reason we have fossil fuels, right? So this almighty-god-person meant for humans to have petroleum and screw up the atmosphere and pollute the earth. Ahh, it all makes sense now.

  i'm waiting for the goodbye texts from my other siblings.

  my parents asured me they would never cut me off.

  Awaken...so happy you have your son and you've saved him from living the life of lies. Sorry that your family is treating you harshly, but when you step back and consider their thought processes, you know they are just parroting the nonsense that's been drilled into their brains. At the bottom of it all, where their True Personalities lie, they still love you and always will. Take heart that things will get better, but right now you're suffering through the tough part.

  Remember we are here for you. Huge hugs to you and your son and your partner.

  Elders, apostasy and disfellowshipping issue's - thoughts please

  ok so... when i was talking to my mil about why i no longer wanted to be a witness she kept trying to convience me that i needed to speak to the elders.

  i said from the word go i didn't feel the need to as my mind was already made up and no one could change it.

  i also said if the elders new all my reasons for leaving they would view me as an apostate and i would get disfellowshipped.

  When many first learn "the truth™" they feel an intense desire to share it with EVERYONE...the standard comment was that new "studies" should be locked up for 6 months because they actually scare folks away.

  It seems the same reaction is true when many first learn TTATT...they want everyone else to know what they've learned and think it's okay to share. But the safest course of action is to proceed with your Fade and let others wonder what you're up to. Telling family members and friends won't get them out, but it will get you pulled in front of the eldubs if you allow it to happen. And if you met with them and told you your reasons, you would most definitely be labeled as an Apostate™, oh poor dears have decided to follow Satan™, see what happens when you don't Obey™? You will never "open the eyes" of your family by allowing yourselves to get df'd. You will only reinforce their loyalty to the bOrg.

  Best advice from all the posts similar to this: Don't answer the phone when they call. Don't answer the door when they just "happen" to drop by. Don't respond...ever. They'll get the idea in time and stop pestering you.
