  do other religions change doctrines like the wt society does?

  i just wondered.

  i mean ok, the catholic church seems to make 'adjustments' more or less , by accepting previously held prejudices.

  against certain things, like gays, or birth control, or rather tolerate it more, but is that a genuine change of doctrine?.

  They are falling all over themselves to pat all jdubs on the back and to promote jw.bOrg. It's like a jdub promotion festival in the comments section...they are the best, the only true believers, the most spiritual, blah blah blah. And some poor schmuck got reamed for making a negative comment! Oh my, how dare he?

  Hopefully the sane people can see the stupidity.

  that's the question that always enters my mind.is it possible that our son got pulled into the cult club because of something we did or did not do?

  we raised them good just like all their freinds and relatives were raised.

  there are none of his old freinds or relatives that jumped ship and went to the cult club.. are there any others out there that were "never" j-dubs that could relate?.

  I mean that someone who is interested and actively soaking up their teachings can easily be hooked. If you are hearing it with the knowledge that it's crazy...hopefully that leads to a different outcome.

  Just saw the new JW.org sign on the local KH sign

  i work about a block from the local kh and i notice there was no jw.org sign on it.

  i said to my wife are they not following the cults rules on this.

  will just yesterday as i was driving home from work there it was on the corner of the kh sign jw.org it was about 1 foot x 1 foot in size.

  The Love Bombing and You Were Chosen By God are pretty tough to beat. Once you start listening, it's not that hard to get hooked. It may have been simple curiosity on his part, or it may have been female persuasion...but don't beat yourselves up over it. Our children often make choices that make us shake our heads and say WTF? You are not to blame.
