  Guess What? Elders Can't Get Clergy Insurance !

  elders don't qualify for clergy malpractice insurance, even if they wanted it.

  So I googled "clergy insurance" and the companies offering to quote insurance all indicate that you must be a 501(c) corporation. I doubt any jw elders could pull that off.

  There is a group called Church Law and Tax which provides consulting services to churches, and of course their concern is not about the victims either. However, the poster below from their webpage on suspected Child Abuse makes me think that right now, any of us who have reported abuse to the eldubs could turn them in to the authorities if they did not follow through. Think about the impact this could have in the US alone!

  Letter Read At Special Talk

  the watchtower arranged to have a letter read announcing that elders would now be apponted by circuit overseers.. any elders on this forum know how this will be different from the current arrangement for appointing elders.. it would be nice to see a schematic with boxes showing how it used to be and how it will be in the future..

  Skin sez: The WTBTS/GB are preparing themselfs for when they come under ban. Well thats what I overheard hear some JWs say after that letter was read.

  The world keeps turning without any notice whatsoever of the jws, yet they believe they are the center of the universe. Yes, that's right, SOON™ all religions will be wiped out and then Satan™ will turn his attention to jws. Keep drinking that koolaid.

  How many were victims of child molesters who were members that are still members?!

  We are many voices for the victims....can we start a media campaign on this site?

  The jw molestation cover-ups need to be as widely publicized as those in the rc church.

  There are thousands of us who have either been or been witness to molestations that have never seen the light of day.

  We can find the journalists who have written the breaking stories, can't we? What if we used a list (names changed to protect the innocent but locations identified) like Guardian's to publicly bring pressure to bear on these monsters?
