johnamos - Yes, blame the parents. It is, of course, the parents' fault that the elders gave a wink*wink to
the known child rapist and protected his identity for years. It is, of course, the parents' fault that the elder assigning car groups knowingly placed that confessed child rapist into a car group with innocent children. It is, of course, the parents' fault that they didn't even know about the abuse for years because the jw-protected child rapist convinced the child its parents would be killed by Jehovah if the child told anyone.
In a normal scenario, the parents would of course run screaming to the police and personally hunt down this monster to seek revenge and/or justice for their child.
However, this is by no means a "normal" situation. Here are the realities:
- This is a CULT. A well-trained, fabulously successful CULT that knows precisely how to indoctrinate people to do its bidding and believe its doctrines.
- The parents are under the influence of this CULT and obviously are not acting rationally, and therefore do not want to cause people under the influence and control of Satan and his system to have reason to speak ill of almighty Jehovah and his One True Religion.
- The elders are under the influence of this CULT and are controlled by the Watchtower Society and the Governing Body, who do everything in their power to protect these child rapists and pedophiles rather than protecting innocent children and their families.
And you know this. And knowing this, you choose to point the finger at the parents? Seriously, you need to reconsider your thinking on this subject.
