Possible Apostates here on JWD
by FlyingHighNow inabout a week ago it was brought to administrations attention that there may be apostates lurking on our board, as a precautionary measure we deleted 107 members who had never posted since they joined.
this morning sadly enough our attention was again directed to a possible apostate within our midst.
i don't mean to scare the pants off you fellow jwd members but it's been brought to the administration's attention that there may be apostates lurking on jwd, too.

Sutcliffe has been inolved with JWs for years, most of us in the UK new this already, if he isnt baptised yet then be assured its not because he hesitated, but rather its because they have delayed the baptism for him. He could have answered the 80 - 120 questions to their satisfaction years ago. Infact he did, but he got sidetracked on the way to the dunking pool, sidetracked by 13 innocent victims. However the dunking pool is still there waiting and he just needs to get in there and seal himself into the cult. Just be aware if he ever knocks your door, ok?

Intro from new member
by lespacino1 inthis site was recommended to me by someone on another ex-jw site i began frequenting recently.
anyway, i am an ex-jw who has been disfellowshipped for about 7 years now.
i was raised as a jw from the age of 4, didnt take to it until i was befriended by a pioneer who was an elder's wife, and she began a bible study with me because my mom ddnt have time to have bible studies with all of my siblings and me, there are 10 of us.

by Blue_Shadow ini dont know how i came across this forum but when i came to it i was so shocked of all the things being mentioned about the org.
i became doubtful of the recent decision i had made ( the big dip, which i kinda felt pressure to do but that's another story) also hearing about how jw are a cult really opened my interest.
so now that im openly informed ,im out in search of the truth behind the truth.

Most of us remained Jehovah's Witnesses for many years simply because they with-held information from us about there fatal errors (yes they cost many humans their life), and their lies and 100% false prophecy record. Not to mention their mental manipulation and abuse.
Once we gain access to the truth about the Watchtower we have no choice but to leave or to stay and lie to ourselves for the rest of our lives. I hope you make wise desicions, it may save you a lot of heartache. Baptism is a signing away of you're life. I know, I was baptised.

she has several birds, a yellow-nape amazon (big parrot), an african gray (snuggle bird), a starling (saved as a fledgling), two cockatiels (think largish yellow parakeets), and two doves.
cheeko was a green-cheek amazon, a smallish parrot.

A Degree....... I can't do this.... HELP!!!
by ScoobySnax inhaving had my 1-2-1 with my boss yesterday on my performance in managing an acute surgical ward, she informs me that she expects me to commence a course in critical care at degree level commencing september.
the reason being our surgical ward is being converted into a high dependancy unit (like an itu) and she wants me to manage it and gain the necessary skills.
i already have a diploma in higher ed.

I have my advanced certificates but I'm doing my social worker degree Scoob, very demanding, infact, so demanding I keep putting it down and forgetting to get back to it...
