I guess I am not addressing "morally unconditional" but just love that you still have for the person regardless of the crime. Its not based on the condition that "if you do this ..then I will still love you" Or, if "if you be good, then I will still love you". I think there are people in this world that we will love regardless.

i have been on this board for around four years.
at first i took what went on here quite seriously, well for about three weeks, but it then became quite obvious to me that the depth of role-playing that went on on these boards was so deep-rooted that it would be a foolish waste of time to do anything more than to read some of the more informative threads and delegate the rest to entertainment.
i hope narkissos forgives me for quoting something that he wrote yesterday, but his thought clearly encapuslates the reason why it is foolish to presume that you know, or will ever know the person who is posting by what they write, and why judgments on a persons character are more than often fatally flawed.
I am getting used to that with you, so I will not bother trying to explain it.

You cite your own cases to prove your own agenda. There is a family in England who did just as you mentioned, the father killed some of the siblings. The surviving siblings still speak of their bond to the father and the need to know him more.
Anyway, some people are so valuable to us that we cant stop loving them regardless..
and dude, dont expect intelligent conversation if you address people in your condesending manner. "Up yours" is about all you deserve.

HS, are you suggesting that someone cant love certain people "unconditonaly" while not loving other people in the same way? If thats what you are refuting then you are on the wrong thread..

KLS even if say "one" parent in the entire universe loved their kids "unconditionaly", then "unconditional love" it is not a myth.
I can't imagine my children doing anything that would make me stop loving them. Even if they were criminals, they are my children, and they have their mother's unconditional love. That also applies to my grandchildren.
DOnt hold your breath Mulan, HS is about to show how mothers and fathers are caught up in the "myth" of unconditional love...

Do you love everybody unconditionally, or just your family?
I can only relate it to my family and that is enough to show me that "unconditional love" is not a myth. You can only blow away my "myth" if you are a giver or receiver of uncondional love. Otherwise, you only have the paperwork to go on. Go ahead.
