hi to all who defended me on that other board.. i came home today to nine pm's, all defending me from the personal attacks on me, on another board.

i am still in shock, but i do appreciate the words of those who defended me.. one gal called me and told me she had five phone calls from others expressing shock over the way i was being maligned on the other board.. i am fine, and dealing with it.

i guess we all need to expect to be criticized.

News Update

i have been away for a couple of weeks, distracted by legal, work and health issues.

it all came down at a time when i am trying to get some things done regarding the jw child abuse issues.. added to my heart disease is disbetes ... cool ... in addition to not having fats, cholestrol, caffiene, cigarettes and sodium ... now i have to cut out carbs, sugar, coke, and take more medicine.

my diet is reduced to a thin piece of clear fibre paper every other night, forty pills, and purified water.

some of you don't know, but for the last two years, i've been trying to get my niece out of the clutches of the society.

it's been a long road.

since my sister died, my mother has been using a huge guilt trip on my niece.

I've been reading about the Anderson case (a thread put up by Jst2lws) - please read that, April? It's currently on page 1 or 2. And make sure to pass it on to your neice - she'll have something to talk about locally! South Carolina is really small in some ways.

Watchtower Motion to Dismiss - DENIED

as you may remember the watchtower has petitioned the circuit court of manchester tennessee to dismiss the case against them filed by barbara and joe anderson.

I don't think the complaint is primarily a whistle blower situation, but that ties in. I would think the Courts would be quite familiar with that aspect thanks to the tabacco corporations.

I think the main thrust of the Anderson complaint rests upon the truth of the matter of what happens to a person's reputation when they're disfellowshipped - particularily a person who fights against the WTBTS.

ALL JW's will know (in their version of truths) that Barbara & Joe Anderson are fighters against Jehovah God himself....because the WTBTS is God's Organization. Speak against the organization, speak against God. And any person who resists God deserves to be destroyed by God in The Everlasting Lake of Fire - akin to the Hellfire doctrine. That's the basic thought of an apostate - one who fights Jehovah God & His Organization. Yep, we know our WT Bibles.

Barbara & Joe, Bill Bowen, and I believe ARoarer & her husband (is this correct?) were ALL df'd a week before Dateline - which ties in with the whistleblower aspect. No True JW would put faith in what they said after being df'd.....they were just "disgruntled former members." Even people of other faiths might think that too. It was so obviously a manuver to keep jw's from putting too much trust in the truthfullness of the molestation information - and to ruin the reputations of the Dateline participants. Afterall, how can one of God's people trust a Servant of Satan - apostates are out just to persecute God's True People.

But what's worse is that by being df''d - ALL those persons reputations were slandered, cannot be repaired in the eyes of their jw families & friends (former). In the closed eyes of JW's - these people belong to Satan now.

And the pompous WT lawyer stands up and tells the judge....yep, that's the way it is.....and we can do it because we're a religion.

Hopefully, the WTBTS will be made to stop destroying people in the Name of God.

Hey sens,

It's not the place that makes a forum........it's the posters (well, ok, the owner & mods too).

As for the posters over at jwo? There are some really friendly ones - and some who aren't sometimes. I'm not terribly welcome there.............but I love to read Naeblis & visit with some others. It's an addiction, I know. And there are some good posters there - they used to be here. They're still my friends. The ones I didn't get along with.....go figure, I still don't. It's the poster.......not the forum.

To deem any forum/people/posters as all good/all bad.......is black/white thinking - which is a common human error that the WTBTS capitalizes upon.

But this old cranky place is still my fav..............in spite of my posting here.

edited to add.........there were actually only two posters at jwo who slammed Mulan - many posters defended her there, as many people know Mulan, from her postings and from meeting her. Lovely lady.

yup. I remember when he called ALL the moderators here "old fucks." I'm not even a mod....and I was slightly insulted - perhaps because he insinuated that all old people were fucks by nature? (there's no squinting hard smilie......so insert here, Valis).

Enough of the under 30 or so mods answered back (along with me who's waaaaaaaaaay over 30) and Valis rethought his irritation and apologized for letting his irritation get the best of him.

Mods? Irritation? Go figure.*****

Hopefully, Prisca will accept Valis' apology. Life's way too short.

Well, that sucks. I just got around to reading more of this thread. I can make cookies........I just choose not to.

Actually, I would have to remember how to make the things first. - almost bought some of those pre-sliced thingies in the store the other day....but I know my kids would ask me the damnable question "Did you actually make these from scratch, mom?"
