i have some unique and troubling news.

i just got off the telephone with scott boer, vicki boer's husband and before that vicki.

her honour, justice anne molloy, has just ruled on the legal cost issue in the boer case.

It's great that your wife will talk to you about this. I talked with a jw 2 days ago, and he just shrugged it off. "I still believe in Jehovah, yada yada."

if any of you wish to kindly make donations to vicki boer, we are formulating a vehicle to attend to this as we speak.. we have been in touch with vicki, who is understandably deeply distressed at the turn of events that have forced her to relive much of the trauma which she hoped that this court case would put to rest, and are wresting a plan which would allow her to receive personal donations aimed at her well-being rather than enriching either the wts or her advisers.. an address will be forthcoming shortly, together with a paypal email address which will allow you to send your donations or well-wishes to vicki, scott and the girls.

it will not be a canadian address or bank account.

We're a free people. We can give to whomever we choose.

Right now, there are several people/organizations which could use our help. Vicki is one of them.

We can choose to help out who we want.

What Vicki chooses to do with the money is her choice. Just like sending Christmas money!

The WTBTS used to tell us who we could talk to, send money to, buy from, read which words, think about which thoughts.

The freedom to help another individual regardless of their race, color or creed is a new thing for some of us. Guess it's time to back our free words with some cash to help another, eh?

Hey 7 & others,

I DO think all these addresses found here and on other threads need to be IN THE SAME PLACE. We can use them this time ...............but what about two weeks from now? These addresses will be lost in the shuffle.

Can there be a forum of ADDRESSES? In this same forum - SAMPLE LETTERS?

Surely, this wouldn't be a difficult thing? I haven't asked Simon......should we campaign him with pm's and emails?

Hello needs-alot,

I did not have the choice of a jury.

I don't know Canadian law, nor the differences between providences, etc. But sure as hell, someone else does.

Was your lawsuit something so different than hers that you weren't entitled to a jury? Or can the judge just decide?

What's the law up there?

I don't even know if you want to talk about this - I don't know if I would if I were in your circumstances. But it might be worth asking some people about - other attorneys other than your attorney?

If I can be assistance to you, please let me know. What was done to you was fucking awful. No other way to say it, imho.

But remember this - you are one hell of a great person. Just average (no offense) in some ways, I suspect (as I am). But you stood up and you won. Even if you hadn't won..........you still stood up.

Congratulations. The WTBTS can never take that from you and it's more than 99% of the population ever does. You stood up and you won.

"Time and unforseen circumstances" aside................this would make a great follow-up letter in our mail campaign for Vicki.

Others in government and in news also might know why - or speculate and ask questions.

Btw, it would be better, imho, if you added this address to an existing thread with addresses? That way, when a person is looking to help Vicki - it'll be put more in the same place.

tie it in with the red cross' awareness initiative and how even organizations can be found negligent in their dealings with abused children.. just food for thought and thinking out loud..
