Fuzzy eh, don't think there was ever a day that person wasn't fuzzy. Yet, 44yrs is a long time. Fuzzy or not at lest I was remembered....

Somebody once said: "You can only remember something once; after that you remember the last version called to mind, and so on." True, very true.

I did get kick out of those two sights and learned something as well: irregardless is not a legitimate word. Never knew that. You were friended on FB, not befriended. Sometimes I don't use words properly.[ note to self, must refrain from munching mushrooms growing in dog shit from back yard ]

just got a call from my mother.

a daughter of one of my mother's cousins just died due to complications of breast cancer surgery.

the funneral will be this saturday.

So Terry and I are conversating the other day and he says to me "You'll never guess who befriended me on Face Book, from way back in our kh days". "Male , or female says I". "Yes". "Was it ?????.. %%%%%%%". "Yes it was". We talked a little about that and our mad dash back to Texas from the 1969 Kansas Assembly. Then says he "She finally remembered you". "Yeah, says I". "Yes says he. You were Quincy, that sweet blond boy". I gotta tell ya, took the wind out of my sails, sweet blond boy? Back in those days I wasn't so much sweet as I was ignorant. What can I say ignorance runs in my family.

Ever happen to you, someone from years back remembers you in an unexpected way? Terry and I had some knee slapping and guffaws over that.

You bet they are, making it up as they go along. Wonder if the jw's will take the African Cardinal's sentiment "pedophilia is an illness" Sad, very sad when the victim, and family, is threatened, coercion is used, yet the perpetrator might have an illness. Yeah, makes sense.

It may be painful to know that a wonderful event will get you a reputation for being delusional or a liar, but shouldn't you hold that ground? Not to say you have to convince anyone else of it or make a new cult about it. But shouldn't you NOT LIE about it?" ............ humbled........

No you should not "lie about it", or attempt to convince others, nor create a "new cult" around the "wonderful event". In fact, intellectual honesty requires one to be honest, not lie. While at the same time you continue to measure the "the wonderful event" against ALL pro, or con ideas, comments, as well as personnel study.

Too often we become complacent, no lazy leaving intellectual honesty void in our lives. It's SO MUCH EASIER to go along to get along, roll with the flow man, don't rock the boat. Intellectual honesty is VERY hard to maintain in your life, yet, it can be so.
