By sharing your experiences with us, I am quite sure that you have brought new meaning to all of us for the 'little things in life'..
It is ashame that you suffered soo! It is even more of a shame that you did so for a belief that you now realize is false.
However, if I may add this my friend, I have never ever ever been touched by another soul via the computer before today...!!!

In essence, you are stating that the WTBTS lied to the UN to become listed by them. I believe you call this spiritual or theocratic warfare.
Honestly, that is the most reasonable explanation of why the WTBTS asked to become an NGO in the first place... I agree with you 100%.
Unfortunatly, I don't understand why the "Truth" would have to lie, and use the 'wild beast' of SATAN here on earth to help it with it's own agenda.. Interestingly enough, the "Wild Beast" didn't use your organization to further it's plans, did it? Why would JEHOVAH need help from the 'wild beast' to further his work, but the wild beast itself did not use Jehovah's organization to further it's work? Sounds backwards to me, doesn't it?
On top of that, the organization 'compromised' on their view, because as has been stated many times on this board, the Awake! magazine has run articles in the past few years shedding good light on the UN.. So, your organization not only is using the 'wild beast' to further it's work, but it's also speaking in complementary tones to the beast itself, so it could keep the association alive!!! In fact, if you read some of the messages in here, you can see that just changing the tone of those Awake! articles caused a few of the then current members to stumble.
So, to recap, the organization needed the 'wild beasts' help to continue it's preaching work. To get this help, it lied and used deception to become associated with the 'beast', and then was willing to lie and deceive some of it's own in their own Awake! magazine in order to keep the association alive and well, causing some of their own 'flock' to stumble in the process.
It's nice to see that the organization uses lies and deception on it's own 'flock' as well as on the rest of the 'world'.. And it worked, from what you can read here.. Many then current witnesses were stumbled by the fact that the organization was speaking 'good' of the UN..
At any rate, what I personally hope comes from all of this is that the WTBTS's 'spiritual warfare' strategy comes out into the open, so you cannot deceive any new 'worldings' into falling for your organization's lies and deceit.
It would be good bonus if the average JW realizes that s/he was also deceived by reading stuff in the Awake! magazine that even the GB didn't believe, but had to print in order to keep the deception with the beast alive and well..
Oh what a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive...
The truth NEVER would have to resort to lies and deceit to get it's message across, but that is the only way that you can honestly get new 'disciples' because if they knew the entire truth about your 'good news', they would run away faster than I could say, "You want some Kool-aid?".

Let's assume that the F&DS are an instrument of God and he uses them to help sincere people come to know his will and purpose for a minute.
Can you explain this one:
Why would God allow people that have come to him via the F&DS to be disfellowshipped for matters that, at the time of disfellowship, were 'not the current light' but have since been changed by the F&DS to be the 'current light'? And, even though their past 'sins' are now ok in the eyes of the F&DS, they have received no appology, nor have they been re-instated..
Why would god persecute his followers that he is hoping will eventually be able to stand apart from the F&DS knowing full well that the 'light' he would eventually shed on the F&DS would agree with those followers?
Those followers that were DF'd are standing on their own.. Is it possible that the DF (apostate as you call them) are actually more spiritually mature than current Witnesses, and that, according to your above criteria, is what God wants.. He wants them to stand on their own, have a mind of their own, stop following the man-made laws of the F&DS slave, and the apostate is the culmination of what God really wants for his people?
By your arguments, is it possible that the Apostates have grown far enough along the ladder of spirituality that they no longer need the F&DS, while active JW's just haven't progressed that far yet?
Because, I dont' understand how you can say in one breath that God wants his people to stand on their own and be spiritually mature, when we all know that the F&DS demands 100% loyalty and subjection, no matter how unscriptural or illogical the rule may be.. (Not to mention that the rule may change tommorrow)
I would love to hear your comments, maybe I've misunderstood what you just said, or maybe there is a logical explanation for it that I am missing...

It sounds to me like you are making an argument that you don't have to be a JW to be saved, and that the JW's themselves do not sole possesion of "the truth", for to be a JW, you MUST follow the F&DS.
Can you explain what you meant by that statement?

Another interesting question: If the UN is the beast of revelation, why do they quote the UN when it comes to Human rights? They certainly make it sound like they agree with their human rights policy, at least where JW's are concerned.. Could it be that Satan is NOT ALL bad? There are parts of the beast the the WTBTS likes? How revolting!
