  RAY FRANZ - e-watchman's strong rebuke

  the author of www.e-watchman.com has been getting stuck into ray franz lately, accusing him of having weak faith, etc.

  his rebuke of ray franz is quite stinging in the latest q & a posted on his site... is ray franz aware of this and would he be willing to offer a response to e-watchman?

  i'd love to see ray's reply.

  I see on the e-watchman homepage he talks about Babylon the great, and when does it fall..

  I didn't read the article, however the front page says this:

  "Predicting the future is humanly impossible. Inarguably, no uninspired prophet or priest; no psychic, clairvoyant or fortune-teller; no analytic prognosticator, nor any computer-generated model can unerringly predict events to come. Peering into the future is the sole domain of God."

  If anyone talks to the author while defending Ray, can you please ask him what an uninspired prophet is.. I've often wondered how one can be a prophet and uninspired at the same time..

  my husbands family are jw, my huband threatened to be but has changed his mind.

  his mother is absolutely foul to me and has taken every opportunity to try and get in between us and split us up.

  if we ever row, she takes his side and starts pointing out what an awful, disgusting (yes she actually said that!

  I agree 100% with not interfering or preventing your husband from attending meetings..

  The witnesses are 'programmed' to look for any opposition, and then they tell the potential converts, see, we told you, Satan is doing everything in his power to keep you from the truth..

  In this case, she'd say you were controlled by Satan because you told your husband not to attend!!

  DON'T DO THAT!!! It's what the witnesses count on to happen to 'prove' their religion is 'true'..

  Ever heard the saying, kill them with kindness!!!

  It works, kill your mother-in-law with kindness. When she starts becoming unkind to you, just take it, and become even more kind to her... She will Explode, actually that is an understatement! And, if your husband has even the slightest idea that the witnesses are 'correct', he will observe your loving kindness, his mother's lack of loving kindness, and your christian response of even more loving kindness!!!!

  when i picked up this copy of the wt, i couldn't believe what i saw in the two study articles.

  the first one is entitled "our watchfulness takes on greater urgency" and the second article is "prove yourselves ready for jehovah's day".. i'm not going to go into these articles in depth, as that is blondies job!

  but i will elaborate on a few points.. before i begin, let's consider a recent comment at the annual general meeting by bro barr, a gb member to put things into perspective:.

  Hey, now, let's look on the bright side..

  The spiritual food clearly says some 90 years have passed. And, clearly the spiritual food isn't meant for digestion (oh, I always get indegestion after their spiritual digestion) until the middle of December, 2003.

  90 years doesn't occur until 2004, which means the spiritual food must stay 'fresh' until at least Jan 1, 2004 at 12:00AM.

  Since it's now the end of October 2003, you have a guaranteed 2 months of Armageddon free time before the world even thinks of ending !!!

  JW Literature?

  this is my first post, just wondering how long after you left the borg.

  did it take you to get rid of all your books and literature.

  i felt ashamed to get rid of mine and it took me about 5 years to finally break down and dispose of it.

  I've been out (DF'd) since 1967. All of the books are packed away in the attic. Thought about having a book burning.

  DON'T Throw any of it out.. Ya never know when it will be needed to disprove a WT lie or something like that..!!!!

  has anyone ever pondered over the two scripture's at matthew 25: 31, 32 and daniel 12:1?

  the first tells us that the son of man is "sitting down" ... and that then a "separating" work begins.

  then in daniel 12:1 it tells us that when michael "stands up" a great time of trouble ensues.. do you think it's possible he is not yet "standing up?

  But first you have to believe that Michael and Jesus are one and the same..

  Prove that to me first...

  From the NIV

  Matthew 25:31 States:

  "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory."

  Now why would it state that the Son of Man is bringing all the angels with him, if infact he is an angel himself?

  Well, us men aren't all dogs :-)

  Try just forming a friendship with a man first.. If he cannot respect your views on stuff, then I don't think he would be right for you anyway..!!!

  If you are in the Connecticut area, I'd love to meet ya and just be friends.. I can always use more friends, male or female!!!
