Anyone noticed a curiosity on the Memorial Invitation for 2013 ?
by EdenOne ini can't scan the memorial invitation for 2013, but i was looking at it today and noticed something curious on the front drawing.. we have jesus as the central figure of the composition.
to his right and bottom, a large crown, in colour, of shiny happy people of diverse origins.. separated from this by the figure of jesus, is another group, a much smaller one, on the left and as if ascending to the top, and grayed.. clearly portrayed in this group is the face of ct russell and apparently william tyndale.
but then, also sarah and abraham and other personalities of the ot seem to be represented there.

When I lived in California, I thought Sees was the best chocolate in the world - Then I tasted Purdy's Chocolate, and I realized how little chocolate Sees has in it and how much fillers it has instead of basic honest ingredients. Its comparable to "Pot of Gold' for quality , in a fancy package.

The claim to be a sole channel of communication between mankind and God, is Blasphemy.
"Lord, Lord didn't we prophesy in your Name? " applies to the Governing Body, to which Jesus replies,
"Get away from me you workers of lawlessness, I never knew you at all."
It applies because they do not represent Jehovah but claim to. and they claim the right of medatition between God and mankind.
Jesus is the only Mediator between you and Jehovah. You know the scripture, "Call no man your leader, for one is your leader the Christ"
As for Russell and the Pyramids - I have here in my lbrary books he wrote all about pyramids and calling the Great Pryamid " Jehovah's Wittness in Stone" with detailed charts of the Plan of the Ages and the Wings of Isis ( Egyption Goddess) embossed on the front cover . His books would be considered Occult, they are obtainable in unversity libraries.

Fear Not - even the ultra conservative Mennonites have decided Hell is symbolic 'separation' from God in some vaguley defined spirit world that is non-material and has no literal fire. Jesus said he came to save the world not judge it. Thats why they call him Savior. Read the Book of John, like it was a regular book and try not to bring any pre-conceived WT doctrine with you. God sees people in ways we cannot, and he doesn't divide people according to our way of thinking. Look around you and see the sky, the trees, the animals, the ocean, the wonder of it all.
Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, .... Through many dangers, toils and snares.. we have already come. Twas Grace that brought us safe thus far... and Grace will lead us home. ... I was blind but now I see.

Amen to that -"Their end shall be according to their works." "false apostles, deceitful workers." What are the "works" of the governing body ? Do their 'works' match what Jesus said we should be doing ?? Matthew 25:31-46 ? this scriptures describes the nations being gathered before Christ and the works are described in detail here: Mat 25: 44,45 ...Lord when did we see you hungry or thirsty, or stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison and did not help you ? " verse 45, He will reply,'Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of these, you did not do for me. '
The irony is that the Mediator beteeen God and Mankind, the Christ himself, will find them "Standing in the Holy Place." claiming they themselves ( the GB ) are the 'sole channel of communication between God and Mankind' and that the GB has gone so far as to prevent people from coming into communion with Christ or being spirit begotten as He promised anyone who believed in Him and asked could be welcomed into the body of Christ. The GB by their works, (lack of works), and by their self-aggrandizement, and by their blocking individuals from coming to Christ, are themselves Anti-Christ. But so as they don't get too puffed up, there are MANY anti-Christs, they are just another smear on the reputation of Christianity.

If your laying down bets, I am betting this guy read Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz and left because he sounds like an honest soul who really loves the actual truth and does not love a lie even, if it brought him prestige in the organization.
I am thinking his gaurdian angel was helping him, "The angel of the LORD encamps around those that fear him, and delivers them." (Psalm 34:7)

in fact, the parent said to be "hating" their child is the one who does not use the rod on them.slaves are to be obedient to their "masters" and the superiorty of one sort of man over another is rigidly enforced.and then, there is an elite who are the dispensers of holy benefit direct from heaven.
these special "agents" of god take the form of prophets, priests,evangelists, miracle workers and leaders.....in other words, jehovah has one standard for one group and another standard for another group.among the jews the outside world of goyim or gentiles were regarded as unclean.

The mentality the WT creates in women is to be the "victim" looking to men to "take care of them", do their thinking for them. Its those suits and ties and important sounding Titles "overseer" and "elder" and the fact women never get to get up and say what they mean, so they shoot mean little comments and put downs, completly off the subject at WT studies. Talk about hidden agendas and suppressed hostility, the women act their anger out or they become clinically depressed. Don't blame Jesus for this mess, Jesus said "You are neither male nor female but you are all one..." he hung out at an all woman household and women washed his feet with their hair. He was always standing up for women in a culture that did not. He didn't follow the social norms, women were in his entourage and became an important part of the early Christian movement till the Catholic Church squashed all that. Today in the WT its just love of power and control, that motivates the men who stay in, they are Heros in their own minds, they see themselves as "special" above the crowd. To leave would mean they would have to be ordinary citizens and survive on their own merit. And what would they do with all those suits and ties?
