  I personally know of a Jehovah's Wittness, woman living in her car,

  who was refused help, by my home congregation, and she received

  help from Catholic Services. I took her into my home, this is how I know

  this information.

  Rutherford was an alcoholic who lived in luxury in the Beth Sarim Mansion

  built in San Diego California ( still there) to house the returning "Prophets of Old"

  who were to be "resurrected in 1925", according to 'Millions Now Living Will Never Die',

  published in 1919. Rutherford moved in to the Mansion, drove an expensive luxury car

  in the depth of the depression ( no charities to worry him or use money up)

  He wore a top hat and was a complete arrogant bastard. Today millions are being

  spent to house the Governing Body in there own private compound, with all services

  provided to them and worldwide travel, courtesy of JW's who think they are the

  sole channel of communication between God and mankind. Rinse and repeat.

  i am currently on a business trip for a trade show in another city.

  as i'm walking to the convention center, i run into 2 jw's preaching.

  one is about mid 60s the other probably mid 30's.

  Cheap looking clothes from a lifetime of poverty probably,

  since he spent all his time serving the "organization"

  and following the, don't get a career or an education rules.

  I am more irritated by wealthy wittnesses who have no interest

  in helping anyone outside their own congregation, and I know a few

  who came from non-wittness, well educated families and inherited

  their wealth and act vain, as if they earned it themselves, and spend all

  their time in Country Clubs, expensive restaurants and traveling on

  their, once hardworking, now dead parents, patents on inventions and

  stock market investments and because of their inherited wealth are "Stars"

  in the congregation, and bend all the rules with no consequences, since

  consequences and marking is for poor people. Rich wittnesses get away

  with murder, as the saying goes.

  a higher education is of no value when you allow yourself to slowly be baked in to the cult.

  the remarks above came from a sister who has a college degree in social science and biology and loved logic and critical thinking.

  we at jwn sometimes assume a higher education might help people see through the smoke and mirrors which did not happen in this case.

  Good people in my experience are somehow internally

  developed by all the thousands of little moral choices

  we make every minute and this seems to have nothing to

  do with education, ethnic origin, or time or religion, they

  are as the Bible puts it "a law unto themselves" and it is

  just as good as any written law and God sees them as righteous

  in their actions. Romans 2:14 when Gentiles, who do not have the law,

  do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves,

  even though they do not have the law. Kindness, goodness, compassion,

  fairness, generosity are universal traits found intrinsically in many people.

  when i first heard about the new "generation" explanation i was confused because i didn't see clearly how they were explaining it.. now it looks like they finally figured it out for themselves and it is no longer confusing.. it is now a simple, ignorant, bold face lie.. this is from the january 1st watchtower.

  (and i hope to hell someone from writing gets wind of this).

  They do this always, the "carrot on the stick" dangled in front

  of the donkey who think if he takes a few more steps he will

  reach the stick. The idea is they can't make "the end" too far away

  or people will give up "the fight" The "fight" being the dead lives they

  have led them into, the lost hopes, the dreams they never pursued,

  the wasted time, the poverty they lived in all their lives. If only in a few

  years it will all be over, just keep going, in the same rut, keep getting

  dressed for those meetings, file in, sit down, listen and never question,

  because soon, very soon, very, very soon now, it will all be over, really.

  Yes it will, its called death. Why is it no religion on earth needs to do

  this except the Jehovah's Wittnesses? If they are "the happiest people

  on earth" why do they even care when the end of the world occurs ?

  Because in truth they are suppressed and shamed and controlled and

  living in social isolation on a treadmill of meaningless meetings and reading

  really stupid books and literature that keeps coming and coming and coming

  in endless piles and stacks filling every corner of their house. So soon now

  it will all be over.

  Which country is better to migrate Canada or Australia?

  i am sure nowhere is perfect but if we want to compare these two countries from different prospectives like racism, job, income/spending, quality of life, standard of living etc.

  can you please give me a rough idea by sharing your experiences.. .

  by the way, i am considering applying for a masters progrmme in any of the two countries.. .

  The USA has a Black president. But he is highly educated.

  Education makes a difference to your experience as does State.

  Racism differs in the USA by State.

  California has the greatest diversity, best University

  system, University of California. Racism is also according to

  education. University educated, West Coast, higher income,

  tend to not be racist or would be embarrassed to admit they were.

  Its not politically correct. Stay away from all Southern States, like

  Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, South Carolina, Georgia,Tennessee, all very racist.

  Any State that was part of the Southern Confederate states that had slavery

  remain racist. Slavery ended in 1865. Segregation in Southern States took

  another 100 years. The Civil Rights act was not enacted till 1964.

  Do not even think about going to Southern States. California is like a

  whole different country.

  What I HATE MOST ?? Is the fact they NEVER SAY SORRY.

  They NEVER ADMIT MISTAKES, and they never take responsibility

  for their own actions and the effect their vain ideas and false prophesy

  has had on others. They deny being prophets while claiming to be

  the "sole channel of communication between Man and God"

  well they got me there, that position would actually be higher than

  a prophet that makes them the MEDIATOR between God and Man,

  replacing Jesus Christ, whom no-one can approach except through them.

  Anyone who realizes this and remains with them is apostate against God himself.
