Really Need To Talk

we live in a quiet town and on friday night after one in the morning one of my employees and i went outside to take out the trash.

Who is in or close to NY?

I think LDH was talking about a NY apostofest this summer. I am in Rochester not far from Buffalo. Let me know, I would love to meet up with you all nearby. I am even trying to find a way to get to the next Toronto apostofest. Crossing the border with an infant is out of the question, last time I was stuck there for hours, and they physically took my child from me. So if we could perhaps do an apostofest in Niagra Falls this side of the pond I am game!

Fainting, seizures, vomiting - help!
by Mimilly inmy oldest daughter, beth, had her second episode yesterday and i'm now officially worried and am looking for someone in the medical community or someone who recognizes these symptoms.. her very first seizure was a febrile seizure, due to a high temp when she was a year old.
i doubt this has anything to do with the present stuff.. a few months ago, she fainted at work and seizured on the stairs, was taken by ambulance to the er.
she came home looking beat up from banging her head on the stairs, with a mild concussion.. yesterday, when she went to get on the bus, she felt it coming on again, and while she was able to somehow ward of the 'seizure', she blacked out before she could pay her fare.

I have been wondering about her, thanks for the update. As I told you via email, i suspected hypoglycemia as well. The doctor is giving you this diagnosis, because it is the most obvious. With the gently pushing from you, the neuroligist is a good second avenue to take. Has she kept a diary of her food intake yet? This would be the best thing to do now, I know it is hard to do, but well worth it.

I went to a Unitarian church today

well, today i did something that in most years past i would have believed would have resulted in me being struck by lightning; i attended a religious service other than the jw's.
this is the first time i've ever been to another religious service.

So you can go ahead and turn in your time this month It is amazing what we can learn from others if we just take the time to listen, and have the initiative to try it. I have learned alot from many here on the forum. So again I thank you for posting this info.
I went and took the test and was a Spiritual Dabbler. I haven't taken the "What's your faith" test yet. Maybe sometime today I will.

Alright, I am throwing my hands in the air here. I DID not want this. As I stated before in this thread, I meant everything I said before, and refuse to apologize. My fault is perhaps stating my opinions in public. I wanted to come back here and visit with my friends and have enlightneing conversation...NOT be harrassed by people I do not get along with.
If Larc wants to discuss what I said of him on another forum, and Simon is advocating that...I concede. I will discuss it in public, but only if Simon assures me I will not get deactivated for it. As he already posted in this thread personal info is not allowed and risks deactivation. SInce Larc has posted personal info since that point...I can only assume that was meant for me.
I also do not want to be barraged with others jumping on me either. I already stated, I do not care for some...and with good reason as well. What good does it do to constantly bring this out in the open for others to read? Who could possible care about all of this, except those involved...and we have been down this road, nobody won. SO if Larc wants to make a Note to Wendy in the adult forum...I will find some time today to answer him. I WILL not be returning to that thread after I make my view of him public.
If this is what Larc wants, and Simon agrees then I will do it. I have to say...this is insane and very childish though. I don't see where it gets ANY of us. It is much easier to walk away then to stay in the mudpit, trust me my heart is settled on what transpired, and have no need to rehash OLD business.
