How long did it take you to familiarize yourself to this forum? You know line thingies and smilies and all that good stuff? If a person comes here, and happens to click the little active button, and see a thread entitled...Help my boyfriend won't cum! It is all their fault eh? Give me a break! And why you continue to talk of people who cannot answer back for themselves is beyond me.

How hard would it be, to edit a person's post title? You could leave the title at the top of the person's thread. Just put another title on there? That way you are not altering their post at all, leaving all info intact, yet cleaning the place up a bit? I know you do not like the subject lines, and have often asked that it be cleaned up. You are the owner, and your repeated requests continue to go unheeded.

Sorry, I do mind and will call attention to it when I see it. Take for example the September 11th killings. How many praised God that he let them out and they are alive today because of him. It begs for them to answer why he did not allow those out who ended up dieing. It is an arrogant thing to say and proclaim when there are horrible things happening everyday.
So if I see someone praising God, Jesus, Allah, Buddah, Goddess Sunshine etc, etc for a wonderful gift. I will be the first to ask why he has forsaken so many tripping over the less fortunate to bestow such "talents" on them. Why he cures some of cancer and lets others suffer. BAH! It reeks I tell ya, and will continue to say so. The only answer that they can return with, is God works in mysterious ways, well not only is it mysterious it is cruel. Why anyone would worship and praise a God who ignores heartfelt pleas is beyond me.

I have never known my mother to tell a lie. She will not lie outright, but gave us wonderful lessons in skirting around the truth. To me this is worse than outright lieing, this is being deceitful. One year on Christmas Eve she found $100 bill in the parking lot of the mall. She "reasoned" with us as to why she should keep the money. She ended up keeping it. Recently she needed her car inspected, but it would not pass inspection due to a crack in the windshield. My one sister knew someone who would pass her if he was slid an extra $20. My mother "reasoned" if my sister took it out and came back with a sticker, she had no idea how she got it, then it would be ok. The list goes on and one of the ways she will "reason" her way out of being outright dishonest. Think this will make the pages of Awake?

Sorry I hit post too quickly She actually thinks these small things are blessings from Jehovah. Can you imagine? lol Yes, Jehovah blessed you with your daughter finding an underhanded mechanic.

I feel really bad about what happened to KJV. Most who saw his explicit post will only remember that one, and forget all the others he had. I think it was a normal reaction he had to post what he did, maybe he did not go about it the right way, but I understand his feelings in doing it. As for the fallout from his family, that too is a bad situation. I know my sisters have come here, and refused to stay and keep posting. They felt the negativity here was neck deep, not willing to concede that we are all at different levels after leaving.
My comments on the sex threads remains, a title can be offensive, without even opening the thread. I don't open the threads on certain topics, because I have a feeling I will not like the subject manner. Of course talking about the sexual repression most of us felt as JW's is part of the healing. I do not mind commenting on sex subjects, if it done with a bit of class. But the old, don't open it and read argument falls flat when you ARE forced to read the title of the thread.
My suggestion, is to remove the sexually explicit titles. Why does so much need to be said in the title? Can't it be changed to ***Sexual Content*** and leave it up to the viewer if they want to go in? I think taking that step would help clean things up a bit. I mean when you go to a magazine rack, they don't keep the Playboys right next to People magazine.

I have to parrot the others who have mentioned how sick it is to hear ANY sport figure, rock star, rap artist, etc give praise to Allah, Jehovah, Jesus, etc. It reeks IMO, to think God would reach down and touch ones with an athletic gift, yet leave so many to die of disease and hunger.
