for a number of years, our publications have explained that gog of magog is the name given to satan the devil after his ouster from heaven.
this explanation was based on the fact that the book of revelation identifies satan the devil as the leader of the worldwide attack on gods people.

it is one of the most hypocritical pieces they have produced!.
it goes into detail explaining that real friends "don't judge you, dont talk about you behind your back, don't hold grudges, don't expect you to conform, and encourage individuality!".

Social media strategy to expose JW molestation issues
by JimmyPage inthere are a lot of jws who will never hear about the molestation issues the wt has because all their friends on social media are fellow cult members.. what i'm going to attempt is to create a profile for an alter ego.
it will have a profile pic and banner that says "jw.org" or some other pro-jw nonsense.. then i will attempt to befriend a jw.
when one bites and accepts me the others will fall like dominoes and also accept my friendship.. at first i will post pro-jw things that will get me "likes", subscribers, and promotions in their news feed.. then i will lower the boom by posting the recent news video from the texas molestation story.

A question that bugging me
by wheelwithinwheel inwhy it has been deemed appropriate to assign brothers and sisters in each international convention city to spend hours and hours making souvenir grab bags full of knick-knacks.
and to assign other brothers and sisters to spend hours and hours preparing choreography, music, lighting, costumes and props, and practicing and practicing cowboy songs, pop music, dance and jw.org skits.. .
and to assign other brothers and sisters to spend hours and hours constructing giant bibles popping out of jw.org boxes and giant bibles turning into baptismal pools.. .

WHEN THE CONSTANT MESSAGE WE HEAR LOCALLY FROM THE GOVERNING BODY IS: THE TIME IS SHORT AND EVERYONE SHOULD DEVOTING EVERY SPARE MOMENT TO THE PIONEER SERVICE TO BE SURE THAT NO RIGHTEOUS PERSON WILL BE DESTROYED.

The Watchtower we ask the question, we furnish the answer format has eliminated JW's reasoning capacities. When they feel an uncertainty creeping into their minds, and a question begins to form, it is quickly stifled with the knee-jerk reaction..."I'm here for Jehovah and need to leave it in his hands". Most changes to doctrine slip by completely unnoticed because, today, most JW's aren't even sure of the old light.
In my most recent contacts, I've discovered the new 'pledge arrangement' and 'encouraged worldly convention antics' seem to be much more effective for breaking through the fog than pointing out doctrine change. However, even then, I'm getting the "I'm serving Jehovah, not men" line.

Wow, 11 years ago...can't believe the angels are still managing to hold back those winds of destruction. Still got a lot of family connections but don't hear a lot locally. Last time I got news, Ron's JW son-in-law had committed suicide. The story was he had been on apostate sites and lost his hope of eternal life in paradise. Might have phoned Ron with my condolences, but found out about a year too late. Be really surprised if Ron's out. He was pretty fanatical. Hard to manage in a judicial comity...believed ever sinner needed to be cast out. He had closed his constuction company and was pioneering when he wasn't at an RBC project. He was gettin' in his hours, alone, when he stopped in all those years back.
