  Depression is a way of life for JW's

  the more i studied, the more i got sucked into being a witness, the more depressed i've become.

  i don't want to do anything anymore, i mean what is the sense: the end of days is upon us!

  the more i became involved with witnesses, the more i felt that i was loosing a part of myself.

  I was born into this sick religion and I can honestly say that the suicide rate within the JW Org. here where I live is higher then in any other religions. I have seen my own friends kill themselves due to the preassure that the elders put on them. These jackasses (elders) have the nerve to say we should be forgiving, but yet they can't forgive someone that makes a mistake? What do they do when someone makes a mistake? Do they forgive? hell no. They make that persons life a living hell, and then cover it all up in order to protect the "name" of the Org. What a bunch of bull. They would'nt know truth if it snuck up on them and slapped them upside the a**.

  Whats the difference between the Society and the mafia? The mafia uses guns to kill people. The society plays on the minds and hearts of their victims (people who leave the "truth") in order to kill them or drive them nuts until they go back to the "truth", and if they don't..then they slander the victims name, placing blame where it does'nt belong, and claims that the victim has bad judgment, takes things out of context, or my favorite of all time, the victim takes things to personally. They can kiss my royal white a**.

  Well, I do not approve of this type ofbehavior, but I can say that the reason this type of thing happens so many times within the JW organization is simply because from my own personal experience, the elders instill fear and insecurity in you, so that you constantly worry, which causes stress, which in turn causes tempers to rise.
  What pissed me off the most is an elder or my very own father, that i would be talkng on the phone with, would be sly, they would have the person that is sitting there with them believe that I had actually said something bad about them in an effort to hurt them, and thus would cause hostility between me and the one that was decieved. Since I did not have a recorder on at the time, it was impossible for me to prove that this is what happened. they do this in an effort to make you (or me in this case) look as though we are evil and heartless, when in reality, its not me, it was the one I was on the phone with that did the damage. They place blame where it does not belong. These morons need to learn a lesson. They had the nerve to say to me on the phone that Vengance belongs to Jehovah, when in reality, what they were truly saying is, that vengance belongs to us (the elders). What a crop of s***. excuse my language. I hope this all made sense to you and did not offend any of you that is going through something similar as what I just described.
