A question for those who left due to ill treatment and abuse from the WT and its cronies

i'm glad that i had biblical doubts - which led me in turn to ttatt.

happified in fact.. for those of you who escaped the wt because of abuse or malice on the part of people in your congregations: are you glad?

(obviously not glad for the abuse itself).

This symptom noted above is representative of an organization which is man controlled rather than Christ controlled* and that is what first awoke me. A light bulb went off finally after almost 50 years of abuse as to why things are, the way they are. Then as I researched and studied History, biblical semantics, ancient relics and architecture I realized that the Bible was not as reliable as I had thought and in fact represented men mostly. See some of Ann Omaly's posts and Doug Mason's posts. I am not sure if there are any beings up there that direct anything*, but I do know that to try to think and act like Christ will get you a lot of grief, and particularly if you are an Elder who really cares about people and what is written in the scriptures about love and consideration. It is a works based business and run as a corporation first with little thought to the real needs of people. It is shrouded in secrecy from the top down and the lowest in the pyramid scheme are the ones who usually are the kindest and most self sacrificing rather than the other way around. If you believe in the whole "Christianity thing" this may well be a Demon Controlled Organization for misrepresenting God's name. Mic. drops and I walk off stage............lol

i personally recorded a district overseer's statement he made in a talk, regarding calling someone a "despicable fool".

he basically equated that term with calling someone an apostate!!!

Gerrit Losch was actually once an apostate.

a jw friend of mine (who was one of my besties until i told him i didn't believe jw religion anymore) used to live in austria and for a while in the 70's was in the same congregation as losch.

they used to spend some time together in the ministry.

my jw friend tells me that he and losch used to often talk about how they believed the wt was wrong about certain interpretations of the bible, for example, how at the time the wt taught that the mustard tree used by jesus in an illustration represented an evil kingdom, and losch and friend didn't think that was right.

From oblivion to oblivion

we all are on our separate journeys, some of us are undecided, some unconvinced, others no longer believe in the cult but now in another religion, or lost complete belief in deities.. i don't know how beneficial these atheists threads are to new comers, perhaps it would be more difficult to accept certain information, for example scientific methods and understandings rather than different interpretations of the bible, this was the case with me at the start of my journey from leaving this jw cult.. when i left i bought many bibles, some expensive interlinears and commentaries, today my reading material mainly consist of science and social political issues, how i have changed.

i am happy that i will die knowing i won't have all the answers, i know none of you will even if you believe in invisible parents.

my views changed so much that not only do i no longer believe in deities but also the hate i have towards a fiction god of pure evil that many claim to be good.. but one thing i do know, is that it's too much for me to believe in a book who we don't know the authors, that has inconsistencies and errors, and that somehow didn't speak bad about roman authority at the time ****yink*** ***yink****.. remember what jesus said, pay to caesar what belongs to caesar?
