  I Love This Earth

  i just mad a trip to lowes to pick up a few things for the yard.

  i always drive through the country and it is so beautiful, wheat fields, corn, tobacco and just green grass.

  there are a couple of horse farms and many beautiful old and new country homes.

  Whenever I'm out in nature, I am in awe with the beauty. Everything seems so perfect, in color, in position, in smells. Sometimes it overwhelms me and I cry. I cry because I know that God made it and I can do nothing more than appreciate what's around me. Appreciate that he gave me life so I could enjoy it. The earth is dying and we are dying. Maybe there is something to life after death, maybe God is going to step in and make the world into a beautiful garden. Maybe he loves us and man-made religions are a bunch of garbage to him. I just don't know.

  All we can do is appreciate what we've got and go on.

  PRECIOUS THE CAT

  my jw neighbors were just young, 18...... when they got married.. they had cats and dogs.... soon the pressures of life, and being a jw took effect, and they seperated,,,,,,,,,, the girl left precious, her cat behind.......it was a better place for her here.. precious was heatbroken...... she was never the same.. it's been around ten years now, ...... and in the last few years, my nieghbor didn't have much time for precious anymore.. so she started hanging around me, over here most of the time.. i buried her just now,...... in my backyard, where she laid down and died.. i hate death,...... it brings back memories of what 2 young beautiful people wanted....... love happiness......pets.. goodbye precious......... i learned alot from you..... i wish i would have given you more love.

  Anyone from Knoxville, TN area or Hazard?

  i am looking for old friends that may have left the jw's.

  i grew up in seymour, tn but knew lots of folks from knoxville area...1980's until 1990's.

  was in hazard, ky for a while as well.

  I lived in the Knoxville area from 1979-1985, off and on. I used to drive down Chapman Hwy. to visit a guy (the first jw I married) who lived in Sevierville. Can't remember the name of a family I knew in Seymour, but the hubby made me a beautiful crib. I went there a couple of times to visit friends with my hubby (Gerald and Connie) and to go to a special meeting that had this sister who had been in solitary confinement and separated from her family. Can't remember her name, but she was very sweet and her story was in one of the publications. Feel free to email me: [email protected].
