I think we should listen to Jesus. Why would I wear a reminder of torture and death? It doesn't bother me at all to see someone else wear a cross (I have come to respect the beliefs of other people), but it's not for me. When I went to an Episcopal boarding school, I wore a St. Christopher's medal on a chain around my neck. At the time, I was wanting to become a nun. So, like lyingeyes, it would need to mean something for me to wear one.

Would/Do you wear a Cross around your neck ??
by Prisca inafter all that we had drummed into us about not the cross, and particularly about not venerating the symbol itself, i have been wondering about this issue.. so, what are your views about wearing a cross around your neck ?
is it just a fashion accessory, or does it mean something to you ?.
inquiring minds would like to know

re: Taking a balanced view of the allegations?
by Visionary Man inthis is my first post on this forum.
i am by all accounts a witness, if not an ideal one.
in light of the reaction after the panorama program i have seen a mixed variety of responses.

They are only human after all.
And the Bible tells us in Psalm 146, "do not put your trust in the son of man, to whom no salvation belongs." Religions concocted by humans are untrustworthy, as evidenced by those who claim to have the one true religion. Some of these elders may speak words of wisdom, but act worse than the people that they condemn. Yes, they have "failed to apply God's Spirit" and you feel you have to make excuses for them.

Dearest, Most Blessed One, that explains so much. I am glad that all my confusions over this book can now come to a close.
Would you kindly tell us of the Aardvark Ceremony? I would be most willing to participate, although who can be worthy of such privileges?
My love to Spanky. Thank you, Jesus. Praise be.

Ah, more new light by going back to the old light. Another 'oops' on their part.
I always thought it was cruel to have the six-month limit. When I had studies who were elderly or for some reason needed more time to understand things, I thought it strange to say, "Times Up! You lose everlasting life! You just didn't get it quick enough!" The governing body is so wrong, in so many ways.
Thank you, nativenyr23.

That's it, Satan, you are right! That's the answer! Thank you!
In all seriousness, I agree with Sabine, Jim, hawk and all...Crawdad needs some therapy and lessons in written communication and I hope he gets both. I still believe he meant well.

Thanks, bboyneko, I've bookmarked that. I am curious to know what returning to the old way of studying is.
