well, i guess it is time to share my story with you all.
most of the recent events in my life i have already shared in bits and pieces throughout various threads here on the jwd.. i am 47 years old and have one sister who is 44. we grew up in a religously divided household.
my father was and still is a jw and my mother is still a devout bible student.
Your story was so long that I had to close it, go run my errands and come back to it. I definately wanted to come back to it. Thank you for sharing your story.
Isn`t it amazing to look back and to be able to see all of the crap that we put up with? I wonder how we did it.
I am glad that you listened to your heart and not a bunch of idiots when came to Tink. Congratulations on finding real love with a great lady.

Thank you Erie, I have sent the editor of the article a note. While doing an article on Kingdom Halls is quite nice. There is a much more important issue of child abuse that is being covered by other news media. Answers need to come from the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society.

now that i got your attention.... well, oprah hasn't yet awarded $50,000 to silent lambs, but she very well could if enough of us "nominate" silentlambs (bill/sheila/joe/barbara, et al) for oprah's "use your life award.
" any regular oprah-watchers will know what i'm referring to; that during the season, she presents various individuals (on monday's show each week) with this award for their service to their cause (along with the big fat check)... .
Thank you Grits for bringing something so important to our attention. Consider it done. A small task, there is no one that deserves it more than Bill Bowen, and I would love to see him get it.

i have just come back from a great mini vacation (two days).
i had a whole lot of fun and enjoyed myself immensely.
it is so good to be out of the borg and not be troubled by borg-rules anymore and just do whatever i wanna do.
