  if you click on the link below what you'll see is an aerial view of the llano cemetery, located in amarillo, texas -- the place where i'll probably be buried.

  the gravestones can actually be seen.

  they are the white specks, all layed out in rows.

  Obesity vs. Smoking - which is worse?

  when i was going to the kingdumb hall people were being actively disfellowshipped for smoking because it was bad for you and an insult to jehovah.. how come nobody disfellowshipped the 400 pound sister who brought her own chair or stood in the back because she couldn't fit in her chair?.

  why didn't anyone disfellowship the bookstudy leader for looking pregnant when he obviously wasn't.. why is cigarette addiction bad but not food addiction.. just wondering?

  can you imagine the logistics of trying to prove actual gluttony or just a medical condtion? what would they do, tail them to the nearest Taco Bell, then go inside and watch what they order while doing calorie, grams of fat counts, etc.? i'm surprised the witnesses haven't resorted to this, as wacky as they are.

  my husband is a slowly and quietly fading away jehovahs witness.

  i am not nor will i ever be a jw.

  his mother is an absolute witch and i want to out her to her congregation.

  Does it really matter what they think?

  I just want them to know who she really is and what she has done to me, my children and husband.

  IMO, the best thing you can do is love your family and show them the results that come from the WTS.

  I know one day her mask will slip although it won't be soon enough for me.

  Yes, it will but you will be glad that you didnt waste time and energy on her.

  Do "they" care?

  i attended the meeting today, hoping for some encouraging words.

  i arrived while the prayer was in progress, i waited, then found my way to a familiy i enjoy and sat with them.

  the speaker was visiting from another congregation.

  Yesterday our speaker was in fact the c.o., who discussed and prayed for all those who had died or were alive and hurting, and it was the exact opposite of what you experienced.

  Yes, he was probably praying that the ones that were alive and hurting would find Jehover and get to see their loved ones in the paridice earth.

  I have heard a couple talks that happened right after a disaster that made me want to puke

  One was the flooding in Texas in June 01 , and the other was the one in Rawanda (SP)
