7First Time ... after visiting for 3 months
by Double Edge inhave peeked in for the past several months and find this a very diverse (kind of) and interesting group.
i'm not an ex anything, (not jw either...if that's ok)... but i've learned a lot from you.
hope to be able to bring another point-of-view that can be at least half as interesting as most of yours are.. poetic overview of me (if anyone cares):.

Who was a squeaky clean dub?
by Marilyn ini'm wondering if the majority here were seriously conservative squeaky clean dubs?
i took the whole thing very seriously.
there seems to be such a fun element here - i can't imagine everyone being those dull folk all decked out in their wt uniform with accompanying plastic expressions.. marilyn

Well I wasn't a firm believer, but I played by the rules...no R movies..no short skirts or lowcut tops...no over indulgence in booze..no smoking..no drugs...uuumm ok a white lie every now and then (usually about my time out in service)...no flirting...no dirty dancing...no cursing...so do I qualify as a squeaky clean dub?
lol I actually had someone tell me I dressed like a pioneer (cringing now!!!)
uuummm In case you can't tell I have made just a few changes...

Goodbye to friends made here, moving on

i'm leaving and moving on from this community, obviously to the great delight of many of you, however, for all the other more genuine characters, may i extend a hand of appreciation for all the help that you have given me at times.. to be honest, this place makes me feel more ill often than better, it feels like i'm sliding backwards the longer i stay around.. maybe one day i'll return when attitudes from those who could be more socially responsible actually make their nessarsary changes rather than constantly being on the attack against those who have no other agenda but a desire to help out their fellow man, regardless of religion, creed, sexual orientation or whatknot.. to those friends that i have made here, please feel free to email me anytime and/or if ever you need any help personally, please do not hesitate to call upon me.. cheerio, keep your chins up.. peace & whatknot(?).

I would imagine from the husbands perspective it would be pretty crappy for your wife to go around calling herself a "Spiritual WIDOW"...

Yes but I am a spiritual widow. I basically consider my husband a gonner...just waiting it out till Armageddon and then I can get a REAL husband.

Well I have done the skinny dipping thing in a couple of rivers down here...haven't been caught so far!!!
Once in hawaii I tried surfing. I was wearing a string bikini and had taken a few tumbles. I was standing waist deep in the surf as the instructor approached...he reached out toward me...and I looked down to see what he was reaching for...my top had scooted over on one side of the bikini leaving a breast exposed...lol I ducked down and asked him what the heck he thought he was doing..lol he wanted to "adjust" it for me...that abruptly ended the lessons that day for me!
Never did learn to surf darn it!
