ok so maybe i'm being played but believe it or not, i just got a letter from the president, that's right, the president of the united states of america!!!
he was thanking many of his constituents for supporting him in his campaign.
and get this, unlike the the problems that are resulting from donald rumsfeld's not taking the time to sign the letters, notifying their loved ones of the soldiers deaths, this appears to be written out in his own personal handwriting.
Well, I must say that I'm really pissed. I didn't get any letters and after the crap I had to put up with I think I should have !!! *Stomps foot* I'm voting democratic next time !

Ya know- with all of what everyone around the world is pledging and giving and will continue to- in direct $$ and practical equipment and people and medical supplies- we as a world might be able to actually help them fix this. We cannot raise the dead but we can help them rebuild and heal.

sorry if i'm boring you once more, but it seemed like a good way to finish off the year.... so i'm sitting here listening to "wilderness of mirrors" by fish, wracking my brains to recount the events of the last two weeks.. it started by knocking off early to catch a flight to glasgow, on the 17th.
i normally catch a boat and drive down, but i managed to get a flight that was cheaper, so i went for the comfort instead.
mistake number one was forgetting to print off a map for the carhire place, though.
