Actually it wouldn't Julien. To be labeled a hypocrite using my previous statements I would have called Reborn2002 a name and claiming I was trying to help him. I am not trying to help Reborn. And I dont believe I called him a name.

incase you think i'm some irate jehovah's witness idiot who's been offended by the terrible blasphemy that he's read on here, i'm not.
i was raised a jw, but now i'm not one.. first of all, given the url, i thought this website was in some way affiliated with the jehovah's witness organization, whereas in reality it seems from the posts i've read that most people here are either former jehovah's witnesses or soon-to-be former jehovah's witnesses.

I did indeed read your post and am sorry if you feel ignored. I did not say that there was not information to be found here. My question was regarding the use of name calling etc. and its benefit of helping other people.
As noted by Reborn2002's comments of hating the WTS with "every
fiber of my being." It is obvious that some here suffer from emotional problems. So I guess I should also understand that not everyone on this board is playing "with a full deck of cards." -

Just because YOU feel no obligation to try to help other human beings live their lives and to get away from a false religion which deceives, manipulates, divides families, and inadvertently can cause acts of insanity does NOT mean OTHER people hold the same value system.
How does calling people who are active memebers of various names, calling the leaders of the WTS names, joining websites for Jehovahs Witnesses and posting the posts here and criticizing them for the hapiness they have, help other human beings?

why do so many people feel the need to base their life on a person, they have never met, did not write any of the works on his life, and has enormous claims made about him that can not be proved to be true?.
sounds just like following the governing body of jehovahs witnesses to me.. can anyone give me a good reason for me putting trust in this man?

by amccullough ini thought this deserved its own thread...below is a reply a made to one of the previous threads ( http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.asp?id=24473&site=3 ) and i am anxious for someone to refute it...or maybe i'm right.. not quite...it seems everyone is muddling the details on this.. it seems that james mccann, who donated the stocks to the wt, invented an improved rotary engine called a rand cam engine.
his company, the rand cam engine corp is a privately held company, but he has donated 50% of the stock to the wt (but retained the voting proxy so the wt has no say in what is going on), he owns 34% and the balance is owned by several shareholders.
this company is half owner of another company called rand energy group.
