  Further to what tijkmo said. I guess all those householders were musing out loud, since apparently only god can read hearts. I suppose mutes are automatically given a pass to Armegeddon.

  Finally, Brother Lett mentioned that even if all of us became regular pioneers and just 1 person in the entire world responded to the truth and got baptized, it would be all worth it.

  Well that is the closest thing to an accurate prediction I've seen come out of Brooklyn in decades

  And everyday hundreds of people leave.

  Has The CIA Infiltrated The Upper Echelon Of The Watchtower Organization??

  the watchtowers call to all congregations for accountants and lawyers especially those familiar with tax laws makes me seriously think they may be in hot water.

  since the watchtower organization has been very vocal especially in the past about its anti-government stanse and its df'ing of persons that join the military,or other government jobs, i'm willing to speculate that the united state counter intellignece agency has seen the need to sneak some of its agents inside the wt, for internal security purposes.

  also i'm sure that the internal revenue has been keeping a close eye on the gb,, the reason being that they are a huge cash cow, and a dishonest coniving mind control cult.

  Baptize 'em young, keep 'em outta Sports - My notes from the last assembly

  i had heard of accounts of young baptisms, but i figured it was the exception rather than the rule.

  now i wonder, after viewing the models of youth paraded at the last assembly.

  i took note of the ages and age of baptism of the five young men (no girls this time) who were interviewed as models of jw youth at this last week's assembly.

  CN was baptized at fifteen and has been a Ministerial Servant since he was eighteen.

  Young ZK has been out in field service with his dad since he was an infant.

  A comment I heard tonight

  tonight i heard one of the most cruel and twisted comments i've ever heard at the platform.

  the topic was the apocalypse and whether or not children will be slaughtered.

  through one side of his mouth, the po stated that the bible is not clear on the matter, while out the other side he pointed to all those old testament accounts where children were killed.

  It is published material like that, which results in the types of comments mentioned here. That is the typical mindset of most JWs, including us, before we began to think for ourselves.

  The vindictiveness, and brutality that is attibuted to God in the bible and echoed by the WTS in their publications, far exceeds any of the evil attibuted to Satan.

  larc. I read your post earlier, and it was a trigger. I was a voracious reader by the time I turned 5, thanks to my mom, and somewhere down there I recall that reasoning, the multiplication thing.

  CalamityJane and I share in your joy. When "our" daughter was born I took the largest bedsheet I could find and spray painted on it "It's a Girl" and hung it from our balcony.
