  If Time were running in reverse would we know it?

  if "time" is running backwards i dont see how that we would ever know, perhaps some clever physicist could devise an experiment to find out for sure.. some theoreticians have suggested the reason the arrow of time runs from past to future is tied intimately to the expansion of space.

  since einstein special theory of relativity we have come to see that "time", space and speed are all relative.

  we now more correctly speak of "space-time" instead of just space.

  Maybe that is what the WTBTS is hoping for.

  Give them another shot at 1975, 1935, 1925, 1919, 1914 etc.and anything else previous and in between.

  Penn & Teller "Apocalypse Later"

  next friday, february 14th, 2003, the showtime network (cable/dish) will be showing the fourth episode of penn & teller's new show "bullsh!t".

  the subject will be "the end of the world.".

  Nathan. I'll probably have to wait for it to come out on the Comedy Network, as we don't get feeds of Showtime up here in Canada, unless you have an illegal satellite feed. Sounds like it would be great to watch though. I've loved their shows in the past and how the expose those so called " magic " tricks.

  Did you see them on " Fear Factor " ? Hillarious episode. Penn did all the talking, and Teller did all the stunts !. Teller actually blurted out something during the show,...or is that Penn..I can never get that right

  i've only been in and out on the boards to check and comment on some threads i was on.

  tink and i have had a stressful few weeks.

  my place of employment is taking a beating with the down swing of the economy.

  Man that's tough. I think one of the toughest things a person can face is the loss of a job, especially when you have family to support. I know, because it has happened to myself a few times. Re the contract thing though, that could be a blessing in disguise. Be it that contract work may not have the "level of security " that working for the Company has, many times it offers a better rate of pay, and the opportunity to make more contacts, ie keeping your ear to the ground as it were.

  Update that resume and print those businees cards up and hand them out everywhere.

  Sorry to hear about Tink and her friend. That is really tough. We had a friend who was a dub, who took his life after we left, and it was very hard to come to grips with.

  Oh that is just tooo funny ! ROFLMAO !

  Some people simply don't answer the door. Some turn out the lights and stay quiet and still. Many people send children to the door to say they are not at home.

  More daring individuals come to the door with their cordless phone, explaining that they are in the middle of a "long-distance call." Some even come to the door and carry on a conversation, but that is a little out of the ordinary.

  I will have to agree with that statistic. 1 out of every 285 people at a district assembly IS a JW.

  Jehovah's Witnesses are not a cult. A cult is defined as a small, extremist religious group that often lives in a single compound and follows a charismatic leader.

  That is a falsehood. How many of the GB at Bethel would you call charismatic ?

  I genuinely appreciate all of you who have taken the time to learn about my faith. Much of the confusion about Witnesses could be avoided if people with questions about us came to us for answers.

  I guess that is why sites like JWD are sooo unpopular ?

  OK I've got to go. I think I pissed my pants.
