  throughout the years after having come to know through your marriage to my daughter you have been a very kind and thoughtful person, sometimes more than my own son.

  i don't think that a mother-in-law could want a finer person for a son than you.

  however, it is very unfortunate that i will have to change the way that i will relate to you now and in the future.

  How many, and how old are the children / grandchilren ?

  There is no way I would let my Mother in Law get her mitts on my kids, under the present circumstances.

  A terrible accident & a small victory

  hi friends, .

  the 1 year old baby of a very good friend suffered a terrible accident, he fell & broke his skull, fortunately he was operated on successfully.

  i had talked to the mother, my friend & a faithfull jw, a lot about the un thing, the child abuse & other things about the borg.

  well, i've been busy travelling and making arrangements to move from my present address, so i haven't been online as much lately.

  as well, due to the changes in the forum, i couldn't post from my home pc for a while, so that really kept me quiet!!

  circumstances mean i won't be around as much as i used to, at least for the next couple of weeks, so i just wanted to pop in and say hi.

  Found your post on Friends...the ol active page is up to it's morning hi-jinx, with posts disappearing for about an hour or so.

  I've also noticed a lot of newbies, and or lurkers joining and posting the past while. It may have something to do with Simon, restricting certain areas of the board to members only.

  Sounds like a Kodak moment to me. Better yet a digital pic, you can post for the lurkers !

  What amazes me, is the different reaction you receive from JWs, depending on the circumstances. I occasionally meet up with JWs due to my work, and everything is cordial. I can meet up with the same JW a week or 2 later in a restaurant, or hardware store, and the reaction is usually the opposite. Anything to avoid talking to you, or even make eye contact.

  They usually scurry like coackroaches, when you turn on the lights.

  That's usually a dead give away. Ummmh. Yup must still be a JW.

  the society is actively gearing up for possible new territories being opened up in the aftermath of war with

  officially, jws are banned from these countries but there are existing underground congregations and groups.. .

  despite having moslem majorities, there are millions of greek orthodox, catholic, and other eastern churches christians in these countries.

  lmao... something just occured to me.... for the longest time i thought that "bttt" was the spelling for a rude sound made with the mouth.

  i kept seeing it in the sex abuse threads and thinking, "that is so rude... why is that person doing that on such an important thread?".

  then i saw someone use the phrase "bump to the top" and it all suddenly made sence!
