  Dateline discussed openly in our congregation

  yesterday, the presiding overseer (elder h) read the letter from the christian congregation of jehovahs witnesses (us branch) regarding their policy on child abuse.

  all scriptures were also looked up and read.. elder h is a very prepared brother.

  he is a gilead graduate and served as a missionary for about 7 years in kenya before coming home because of illness.

  Is it my imagination, or does the Society have a hard time saying DATELINE? They keep referring to it as if it was a nonentity...some fly by night TV show. Something akin to EXJWs having the inability to utter the word JEHOVAH any more, in their eyes.

  I dont believe for a nanno second that there was a single person who came forward after that "discussion" and oh by the way discussion means TWO WAY conversation, to question anything said by the high and might society. Didnt this elder just say when an elder TELLS you something you DONT question what he said??? Helllllooooooo.

  If the elders in a congregation are given a letter saying that so and so is a potential, alleged, kinda sorta, maybe pedophile...and the CONGREGATION is not told...they have endangered not only every person in that new congregation, but every person in that congregations territory where that perp is still free to go door to door. Yeah, he has to be WITH somebody ....but you dont think a perp will make a mental note where some victim is home alone and come back AFTER service when he ISNT accompanied? These people are not ADVERTISING their activities. And if the congregations are STILL not reporting EVERY child molestation case to let the authorities handle it..then they are STILL harboring pedophiles. There are NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT.

  You can clearly see the pyramid, the size of it, the Masons Headquarters in the background, the cross and crown.

  I have other pictures of Russells own grave some'ers :) Russell is not buried under this..his grave stone with his picture on it is uphill about 20 feet from this pyramid.

  Amazing Survived Major Heart Attack

  i just spoke on the phone to amazing (jim whitney) who is in intensive care in a chicago hospital.

  on monday he had a major heart attack, had a stint put in an artery to unblock things and may have bypass surgery.

  he's comfortable enough right now, but of course will have to make some big lifestyle changes.

  tuesday's dateline will deal with the child abuse charges against the witnesses in pa., the one that was in a dallas morning news story a week or so ago.

  however, in sundays closing talk at terrell, bro.

  strahly said " keep in mind , these are apostates and that christians would want to avoid viewing that program.

  I dont think I recall any half hour segments? 20 minutes maybe but half hour? Stone did say something about a follow up about crash testings to be shown on Tuesday as well, but usually if there are other stories afoot in a night, they are mentioned. I have not seen ANY other topics mentioned for that night.

  I will take what I can get at this point. Lets not psych ourselves out folks. The dateline story may be the cork in the dam. Once it pops...the follow ups and lambs coming out of the woodwork should make for further press. Especially if WE keep up the pressure for reform.

  after two years out, and that after 25 years in...my mother in law announced out of the blue that she is making an effort to rejoin the jws.

  im sure the only reason she is joining them is to get her estranged jw elder husband back, and her two jw kids and grandkids.

  i cant believe that a "christian" religion would force its members to prostitute themselves this way just to have their family.. they suck!!

  After two years out, and that after 25 years IN...my mother in law announced out of the blue that she is making an effort to rejoin the JWs. Im sure the only reason she is joining them is to get her estranged JW elder husband back, and her two JW kids and grandkids.   They SUCK!! Even more division of this family will now ensue as the JW members all try to decide if she is for REAL or just faking it...whether to accept her back or not accept her back.

  edit: maybe i goofed.

  i did not watch dateline tonight, and did not hear stone philips say it would be shown at 7:00 pm eastern.

  this is better, because family and some friends on the west coast will have it easier.

  Stone Phillips didnt mention the content of the show on Tuesday when they did the show on Friday night. Ususally they do. But he did say it was going to "be on at a special time, 8 PM eastern 7 central." Like everybody, Im going to be GLUED to that TV. It would be very cool if somebody could do some streaming video highlights for us on here.

  Gawd...im so NERVOUS about this thing, youd think I had produced it myself or something!

  Spanking WT in Benton KY

  well we did it, 45 people were present for the first candle light vigil for silentlambs around the world.

  holly and heather berry were there along with many other victims who told stories, sung songs, and recited poems that were self composed to help them deal with abuse issues.

  there were many touching moments where you could feel the heartbreak and pain suffered by the expressions made.

  A wire? These guys are so paranoid, Bill would have to show up in his BVDs with only a smile on for them to let him in. They will probably just DF him in absentia and have a meeting someplace without him, and to hell with "due course" This is Spiritual Warfare, Society Style. They dont have to play by their own rules, only the ACCUSED and ACCURSED do.

  The congregation is probably frothing at the mouth about now, beating the tables with their mugs, screaming for a lynching. Wanting BLOOD. I wonder tho, if some of them are hoping for the blood of the elders?
