I have researched the subject and come to the conclusion that the internet is a hoax. It doesn't exist. -

Hi,
I'm AT&T, your site is getting popular. I'm going to throttle your site unless you pay me.
You're the reason people pay to have the internet to begin with? And I'm already too powerful and rich? Who cares!?

Are Beards becoming more acceptable due to decline in membership?
by UnshackleTheChains ini noticed a young brother with a beard being given more privelages within our hall.
when he first grew his beard, he lost his privelages.
but more and more recently he has been helping out a lot more.. the cobe is old school and a stickler for rules, but with the hall becoming more empty these days, and the need for young brothers, he seems to have relaxed on this particular watchtower/man made rule.

The ingroup polarization on this issue is as strong as it's ever been in our area. At least it is another thing to prod the thinking process of a young JW about the stupidity of their parent's cult of choice.

Am I right?

JW.ORG turning into an evangelical clone
by Pistoff ini clicked this link to the november 2017 tvjw video, in it they defend their 2 witness policy, though, gutlessly, they do not mention it in the context of child sexual abuse.. anyway, check out the christian jehovian song at 57:06, ugh, makes me nauseous.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksz0qiftsok&feature=youtu.be&t=53m25s.

My hypothesis:
Splane (the self-proclaimed genius bad-ass of the GB) read through some of the critiques of the evolution books/brochures (finally). His fix: tell the world how we hate quoting out of context, without telling them that we'll be more careful in the future because we fucked up so many times in the past.
Just like many critical subjects, the GB will layoff the evolution debate from now on. No need to beat a dead horse. None of their followers, nor the people that they may convert in the future give two fucking shits whether evolution is true or false.

Dietary Quirks Among JWs
by millie210 ini recently had to accompany an older family member out of state to a family reunion.
it was a big reunion and not much was overtly made of the fact that i am "misguided" and not attending meetings (lost soul that i am) which was nice.
the thing i noticed that i was most struck by was all the dietary quirks in evidence during our 3 days together.

JWs seem to be bent on buying into most ideas without thorough research.
The JW critical thinking skills suppression machine tends to make many of them into hypochondriacs.
My father (PO/COBE for 25 years) became allergic to perfumes, then before long, he was allergic to the smell of food being cooked in his house. Strangely enough, the smell of gasoline, oil, paint, grease, rust, plastic, welding smoke (all of the shit he loved in his garage), never bothered him at all, zero, zip, zilch.
Yep, religion poisons everything, a wise man once said.

The lifestyle of the GB is a billionaire's lifestyle, perhaps even better. Take a look at any cult leader and their lifestyle. They are in want of nothing.
Perhaps the GB members do not spend much time on yachts or in 20,000 square foot mansions, but they do have assistants to do EVERYTHING for them. When they travel, they travel with an entourage. Permanent bag boy, waiter, attendant. Typically a helper couple is assigned to fly with the GB couple wherever they go. They are there for their "safety and comfort", but anyone can see they end up doing the GB couple's "bidding".
Imagine handpicked helpers/assistants that surround the GB. These folks believe they are hanging around a guy that GOD whispers to.
When I think about it, I don't think even Bill Gates can his hired staff of assistants to do things with the zeal that any JW would do for a GB member.
They don't personally possess a billion dollars each, but they don't need to.

Having the average Christian explain the Trinity to you is like having the average Jehovah's Witness explain the generation of 1914 to you.

Are We In A Computer Simulation?
by Brokeback Watchtower inelon musk believes we are and he's a pretty smart guy that runs spacex, a lot black hole physics may seem to present the 3 dimentional space as a hologram of a 2 dimentional sphere.. i think this is open for serious debate.

2017 Memorial Partakers
by NashvilleTele inwhen does the number of memorial partakers get released for 2017. i was wondering if the number will surpass 20k.

The rapid rise in partakers really fucks up everything for the Watchtower. It and the generation of 1914 are the twin elephants.
