  Of course I myself personally "see" the WTS as being the religion referenced in that verse. You obviously wouldn't, because you think that the WTS is a false religion. But the key to understanding the prophecy is tied to being able to first identify the religion being referenced in that text. Scrutinizing the text, one thing in particular stands out -- the fact that there are doctrinal errors, errors that cause some to stumble, which in turn result in those errors being corrected (refined).

  I'm not sure I understand what you're meaning to say, Ozzie. But if you mean you think that the WTS interprets Daniel 11:35 the same as I do, you're mistaken.

  I'm sure that there are many instances of apostates spotting faults within the confines of dub-dom, wouldn't it be nice if the JW's were to post a great big thank you right on this board?

  Although I don't agree with you regarding the NGO/UN issue, I think a number of other things has to do with the fulfillment of Daniel 11:35, something therefore that was foretold to happen immediately prior to the time of the end getting underway. So, yes, I suppose I have to say "thanks" even to apostates for participating in the refinement of which Daniel 11:35 speaks. Do you realize that you are hurrying the end's coming? This is all soooooo ironic!

  You don't address it because you can't even begin to interpret it, and you know it. So all you can do is make an attempt at avoiding the challenge that has been set before you. You wish to avoid parts of the Bible in order to preserve your twisted view of this matter. Yes, you are indeed spineless, Yeru, because you haven't the courage to face all scriptures that bear on this issue. Your way out is simply to claim that the explanation which I presented is "quite nonsensical," without making the slilghtest attempt at showing how that is the case. You've accomplished nothing other than say: "You're wrong, and that's THAT, because I said so." You're quite a guy, Yeru. No, I better correct myself on having said you are a "guy" ... quite obviously you have no male proof of being a "guy" ... and I'm quite sure that didn't go over your head.

  I find it quite telling that not a single one of you who have participated in this thread have showed the fortitude of being willing to address what I said early on, as quoted below:

  Yeru and DakotaRed (one a vet, the other an active soldier) ... I wouldn't give a dime for their understanding of the Scriptures.

  If either person truly understood the Scriptures, they wouldn't align themselves with ANY nation at all. It's not without reason that the "dragon" of Revelation 12 has a diadem also on its 10-horned 7th head, the parallel to which is the 7th head of the wild beast in the 13th chapter (such head being presently in power). In other words, the dragon's diadem shows that Satan exercises authority over the now-reigning 7th "king" that the 7th head represents. Obviously, none of the symbolic "ten horns" (picturing all governments of today) that are perched atop that 7th head would ever imagine that they are under the influence of the dragon/Satan.

  What? No spines? Looks that way!

  The conditions aren't ripe yet in order to bring out the real you, TR. Insofar as me being willing to protect any of my fellowmen (including you) from enduring bodily mistreatment at the hand of an offender, if I were to happen upon such a thing so as to actually witness for myself what was going on, I would interfere in the victims behalf. However, I won't get involved in the nations questionable wars ... the facts aren't ever as clear as the scenario that I've just described.

  Now for Yardirf and all of the Americans out there that can criticize and whine about the actions being taken, I urge you to leave the country and go some third world nation that restricts your movement in the country, right to vote, right to speak freely, right to practice religion freely, etc. Then see just how free you really are.

  You and TR both exihibit the same spirit as those who persecuted the JWs in Malawi for their refusal to bow down to President Banda's silly requirement. I don't doubt for a second that the two of you are just as capable of brutally mistreating other humans.

  Thanks to the U.S. military, you are able to play with your radio controlled cars. You are able to be a 'hovah and at the same time say 'bite me' to the WTS.

  According to you, TR, there's not much left to be thankful to God for, is there?
