As a Catholic I have some serious theological differences with the writers, but I found the series VERY entertaining...and a bit uplifting...and look forward to the next two books, a "Prequel and a Sequel".

Some fanatics are even threatening and killing DOC's to save the baby
They are fanatics indeed, and denounced by the pro-life movement. We just see this issue different, we'll have to agree to disagree.

Interesting how some of you want to save the unborn 12 week foetus (someone elses one) ... but don't care blowing up alived people, when it comes to protect your a$$es !
Interesting how some of you are concerned about the death of terrorists but not in protecting the unborn innocents, especially when it comes to personal convenience. Protests about the war fall on deaf ears when you don't mind babies being murdered because they are inconvenient.

shakedowns
by bavman inhas anyone else noticed shakedowns in their area.
in my state whole service committee's (presiding overseer, service overseer, sectretary) have been replaced in many congregations including our's.
also, at the green bay convention and in many talks locally it seems there is a lot of hammering on the faithful and discreet slave.

When things get tense and emotions are running high, humor is a great release.
So is masturbation, but that's a different thread I guess.

Yep, wrong wrong wrong...the mental disconnect between this and other issues is pretty amazing though...I won't get into it now.

Funny Experience, just wanted to share
by dorothy ini have long laughed about this so when i saw it, it was pretty funny.
maybe you had to be there.. i was on the city bus this morning, on my way to school.
(i'm in college) anyway, i saw a guy reading a watchtower and i was wondering if he was a real dubbie or had just picked up the magazine off the seat or something.

91R, Vet food inspector. Critical MOS, probably not, but still needed and used. Someone has to hang out with Brown and Root to make sure we're not being fed MAD COW burgers. I wouldn't sweat it too much, not just yet.
Yep, when you sign the contract, it's for 8 years the first time. Technically, you can be recalled even from the IRR if it's at 7 years 11 months and 29 days. But that ain't gonna happen.
Stop Loss...woohoo.
