What "SIN" do elders respond to fastest?

maybe it's just me but, it seem like "elders" respond extremely quickly to "sexual misconduct" as long as it does not involve their own family members.

i have to agree with jrizzo reagarding the A to be given the most attention. it's like treason against your coutry or something. on the other hand i know of more than a few "big boys" that i think got off on those committee meetings. i was in more than once and the completely violating questions they asked and details were horrifying. when i was just 23 i sat before them because an older sister that i confided in regarding my "secret fault" of masturbating (i kind of thought i was doing good because i had it down to only once a month) told on me and they needed to discuss it with me because i might have my "privelege" of regular pioneering taken away.

oh well, it is so great to be free of that crap!!!!

have you ever had to deal with the thought that you really weren't that good of an example?

perhaps, the congregation was encouraged to pioneer or reach out for bethel service or go to seldom worked territory, etc.

and when you applied, you were told that you didn't qualify.

OH YES, I WAS A VERY GOOD EXAMPLE AND WAS REMINDED OFTEN HOW MY CONDUCT AND WHAT CLOTHES I WORE WOULD AFFECT THE "YOUTH" IN THE CONGREAGATION. AND THEN I COULD'NT TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in regard to "waiting" comment about seeking help from a jw therapist---yes, i certainly am still bitter. i wasted alot of time and $ going to a jw therapist. i only went because i knew i needed help and had such a huge FEAR of the world that when i heard of this bob langston (jw therapist) ,i thought my prayers were answered. i will say it was a setback in any kind of recovery, but just being a JW is a setback for any real recovery from anything. i'm out now, and my experience with bob langston was just one more "nail in the coffin" for me to GET THE HELL OUT OF THE DYSFUNCTIONAL WITNESSES!!!!!!!!!!!! so i guess i can thank him and all the f'*cked up elders and bros. and sisters for guiding me to see the real TRUTH---which is the JW'S don't have it!!!!!

Worst watchtower you tryed to place!!

the worst magazines i tryed to place was about 13 months ago i think 1 was the watchower on witchcraft and the other was the elderly commiting suicide.i thought how the hell am i going to offer this mag on witchcraft, i think i ended giving them to the pioneers,i mean what sort of presentation could i use with this witchcraft article i suppose i could of spoke about the blair witch project and tell them how c:@p it was,i mean i loved horror films.and to make things worse the magazine about the elderly commiting suicide "oh god" that was a bad one especially when i had to offer it at an old peoples home.

so anyone on here what mags did you find terrible to place.

I NEVER REALIZED HOW F@#'K'D UP MY SESSIONS WERE UNTIL I BEGAN TO SEE A WORLDLY COUNSELOR. THANK GOD FOR THE "WORLDLY" THERAPISTS OF THIS " SATAN DRIVEN WORLD". I FINALLY GOT SOME REAL HELP!!!!

OH YA, AND ONE MORE THING: HE DIDN'T TAKE MY INSURANCE WHEN I WENT TO HIM OR ANYONE ELSE'S THAT I KNEW OF BECAUSE THAT WAY HE COULD GIVE THE "FRIENDS" A BREAK ON THE COST OF THEIR SESSIONS. HE USED TO CHARGE $50 PER SESSION WHEN I WENT TO HIM. AND NO INSURANCE COVERAGE AT ALL! THAT SURE ADDS UP WHEN YOU COULD PAY A COPAY IF HE ONLY TOOK IT. AND IMAGINE TRAVELING FOR 3 1/2 HOURS EVERY WEEK FOR YOUR SESSIONS!!! ALL THAT TIME AND GAS$ TO DRIVE AND SEE THE ALMIGHT BOB "HELP" YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DOES ANYONE REMEMBER HAVING TO SIGN A DOCUMENT CLAIMING THAT IF YOU DISCUSSED ANY "SERIOUS WRONGDOING" DURING YOUR SESSIONS WITH HIM, THAT HE WOULD GIVE YOU 2 WEEKS OR A MONTH OR SOMETHING TO GO REPORT IT TO THE ELDERS OR HE WOULD HAVE TO.

SO MUCH FOR HIS "BIBLE BASED CONSCIENCE". IF YOU WERE IN ANY WAY VULNERABLE WHEN YOU WENT TO HIM FOR "HELP" (AND WHO ISN'T, WHEN YOU'RE THE ONE TRYING TO SEEK WHAT YOU THOUGHT WAS SAFE PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING FROM AN " UNWORLDLY" THERAPIST), YOU WERE SURE TO WALK OUT OF HIS OFFICE MORE F@#CKED UP THAN EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ahhh hey jjrizo you got that right. Mr theRAPIST Langston liked to increase his concubine in his " professional setting" !!!! Actually the number of sisters is more like 87... I guess he'll be pretty busy counseling them in between trying to get re-instated!!!!

Does anybody know of a witness named BOB LANGSTON who was in Malden, Ma. and Medford, Ma. who claimed to be a licensed therapist and had many of the friends (ESPECIALLY THE SISTERS) as his clients? some came as far away as the Albany, New York area ( a 3 1/2 hr. drive) to have sessions with him! I've heard that in his quest to "help" the sisters, he has done more damage than good. We called the license and registration board and found out he had complaints on file with them regarding his practice.
