"fading out" hmmmm damn if only my dad wasnt an elder...that might have helped back when I was leaving the borg. I left one day and the only time I came back was to meet with that damn judicial comittee, go to the df announcement and walk out to the parking lot to light up a ciggie. I never looked back...easy it wasnt but worth every freakin minute.

i`m sitting here in front of the computer with a nice cold bottle of molson canadian beer.i don`t drink canned beer unless i`m camping deep in the forest.its easyer to pack,and cans dont explode(bottles will)if your going up a rough mountain road.i prefer my beer stored in a bottle,i think the taste is a lot crisper.so how do you prefer your favorite beer?bottles,cans or on tap served in a frosty mug..

it seems there's a buzz about everybody being bi-polar or on anti-depressants.
it seems a lot of people i know are taking anti-depressents.
the doc said i'm *bi-polar 1* or something like that.
tried the medication route once upon a time but found that I had better success controlling myself without the meds...but definitely have mad mental issus...
i am wondering , with the world situation that way it is, could we be living in the last days?
putting religion, and personal beliefs aside, are we are the brink of all of this coming to an end?

only occaisionaly do I ever think that but on those few times I look at my baby girl and think about her grin and the "last days" slowly fade away...I wonder sometimes if she is more powerful than ANY threat of "armageddon" I have ENUFF to worry about in any given week..

'' article in the watchtower, and the yearly exhortation to ``make nice at the summer's assemblies'' in the km.. in the case of the latter, the tone and content of the annual scolding is unbelievably demeaning to any responsible adult... being told to dress nice (suits and ties only, please, for the men and deresses only -- not too short ladies) not to abuse complimentary breakfasts, pool privileges and generally avoid rowdiness at the hotels where they stay-- all laced with clearly fabricated -- not to mention unattributed-- quotes from ``worldly observers amazed by our fine conduct.''.
heh heh heh...damn this thread is funny...had me laughin pretty hard! I member them walks and the frying in that seat listening to that constant mind numbing drivel that POURED from the stage. I all of a sudden member drooling everytime that music started playin tho...pavlovs dogs never quite thought about it that way..LOL
it occurred to me that perhaps one of the differences between a catholic confession(s) and a jw confession before an elder(s)is that the priest tries to figure out what's appropriate for forgiveness, whereas the elder(s) try to figure out what's appropriate for punishment.

would you say that's a relatively accurate assessment?.
ahh yah I member that judicial panel of windbags...yah they asked and asked and asked about what "other" things I had done that I felt "repentant" for but I didnt feel the need to share much of anything that I hadnt already been ratted out about...heh heh...fockers...

i've been out of the "truth" (haha) for about 12 years and had no idea there were such places like this.
