Gallstone Experience, etc.? Scully?

i was wondering if anyone would have any really great enlightenment from their own experience with gallstone attacks.

however, i had a wicked attack last night .

so, has anyone had this disorder and know any great solutions (short of surgery, which doesn't seem called for yet in my case) for avoiding these (ouch!

Hi Pat,

I'm so sorry this is still such a painful problem for you. The one thing I've been greatful for considering my own medical problems, is that other than the spinal tap while hospitalized, I haven't had to deal with real and lasting pain. I just hope they can resolve the issue with the least possible trauma. And, hope you find a solution soon. (((Hugs)))

we made it!!!!

we got here yesterday afternoon, after a loooonnnngggg flight.....6 hours.

two of our group came from boston, so they had a really long day.

Mulan, I'm so happy you are all having such a wonderful vacation. But admit to being a bit green with envy myself. You see since the stroke, I just can't tolerate the cold, yet force myself to bundle up and walk for 45 minutes at least twice a day, dragging my what feels like a 100# left leg along with the rest of me. I'm determined to recover, and if that's what it takes,so be it.

The good news is that as soon as I'm fit enough to make the trip, larc and I are going to Mexico, to scout for a permanent retirement home.

So, on with it - get out and get more sand between your toes. Have a lovely trip, you deserve it. Now that I'm feeling better, I will write you once you return stateside. (((((Love and Hugs))))))

life is tough regardless of whether we were ever jws.

my own life has taken some twists and turns i did not expect or like ... and i have to focus all my attention now on getting my badly needed open-heart surgery or face death in about six months ... so in the next couple of days, i am making the last of three posts for a while ... then all my efforts will be aimed at getting better, and facing some issues in my life and making the best decisions possible for me and my family.

i decided to limit many activities because i tend to do too much and neglect some things that i should not ... this is not a good-bye post, but more of a long vacation post.
