COULD BE GONE FOR AWHILE!
by Dansk indear all,.
those of you who have posted here regularly for the past four years have helped me immensely in my recovery from watchtower and have shared with me in my journey.
you will also know that, after winning my battle with watchtower (save for one daughter who is still stuck fast in the org and shunning the rest of us), i have been fighting an even greater battle these past three years - cancer!.

by alanv inhi everybody, i am a newbe to the forum and have been faded from the borg for about 15 years.

MOUTHY'S DAUGHTER.....
by Mary ini just received a call from mouthy regarding her daughter's biopsy (for those of you who didn't know, she had a lump in her breast that they took out).
it is benign, not malignant!!
she's so busy with getting ready to move and company that she just didn't have time to post, but she really wanted to thank everyone for their help.

Do you have a favourite product you use?
by Bumble Bee ini have a couple of favourites i'll share with you.. first is pure coconut oil for my hands.
at room temperature it is a solid, so i have to immerse the pump container in a mug of hot water for about 5 minutes before i use it.
it's wonderfully warm when i massage it into my hands, and leaves them silky soft!

Chapman's Liniment. Originally developed for horses, haha. But it is a witch-hazel herbal infused liquid. Which is WONDERFL for all aches, pains, minor inflammation. I wouldn't be without it! I woke this morning with a stiff neck - a brief spray of Chapman's and preso, my neck felt fine.

It looks very much like "bitter melon" to me.? Highly prized in oriental and Indian cooking - but truly lives up to the "bitter" description. Definitely an acquired taste. Only grows in very hot climates.

What was your 1st Deception as a JW?
by JH inwas was the first thing that really decieved you, in your jw years?.
was it the way you were treated, or maybe a teaching that deceived you ?.
i think my 1st deception was when they said that the resurrected ones wouldn't be allowed to get married in the new system.. then i wondered why ???

Actually it was the disfellowshipping for smokers. They offered no real help for those trying to quit, in the way of programs or assistance.. You were considered spiritually weak. Yet when my mil who was a true believer died, she left her money to the WTBTS and they had no problem taking the money, from thie disfellowshipped woman. This was just one of the signs of hypocrisy that was apparent to me at that time. Many more quickly followed that event.

Not been here for a while
by fullofdoubtnow inthis is the first time i've been on here in about a month, though trev has been posting some days, so i've been able to keep up with everyone's news.
thankyou all so much for the well wishes you keep sending me, they all mean so much.
apart from my other problems, i've had a really painful back injury for the last few weeks, which has made it impossible for me to sit comfortably at the pc.
