Can any believer answer this?

it was the point i decided to become agnostic.

i found my final stumbling block in my search for god.

i asked (myself as well as others): why would god create carnivorous animals before sin?

I wish to offer some personal insights on a couple issues.

The first is the nature of Gods omnipotence. The assumption is that God knows every thing you do at every moment. He knows for example in five minutes you will take a crap :). This is preposterous. God in awarding freewill to man is providing him liberty to act independently within limits. In this way man is a interactive player in Gods game of life.

God does not act personally in almost any matter. As you would imagine God oversees the greatest, largest organization in the universe. He is the worlds best delegator.

As a actor in the Grand Drama of life each man receives a script that is a guide for what he should do and say. He is free to deliver his performance in his own way in his own language with his own feelings. The important thing is that Gods will be done.

God knows in his game of life what each door opens to. He knows where every path leads. He knows the final outcome of one choosing certain doors and paths. Just as in literal stage productions there are understudies for roles there is such in real life.

If you for whatever reason do not choose to fulfill your role as a good guy he will find a villians role for you. Your good guy understudy will then take over. You will become a self made resister as the first resister Satan was. God is not making anyone rebel. We choose our course and whatever choice we make God uses it to accomplish his will.

Basically and simplistically Gods will is to train up a boy ( earthly child of God) in the way he should go so that when he comes of age (becomes perfect) he will not turn aside from it. Perfection means simply becoming completely equipped for every good work. Nothing more.

This lesson necessitates Gods allowing evil to exist and using negative life experiences including death to teach man important lessons for the sake of his everlasting future.

The second issue is the prophecies concerning lions and wolves living peacefully alongside the sheep and the lambs. JWs have self servingly implied that this is a description of a future earthly paradise that is being held out very literally.

It is clear that what was said was metaphors for false shepherds whose animal like natures will change. There is no reason to believe that this is in any way speaking literally.

We should not expect the natures of wild animals should ever change. Many were designed to eat others and no evil is attached to it. Only to men who choose to act like animals.

In the beginning God carefully designed and manufactured Man. He then began the testing and perfecting of what he had made,

He designed and created the world in which man would live and play out the game of life.

The object of the game is for man to grow as the earthly child of God slowly over the course of much time to adulthood.

As souls (spirit man) these creations become actors on the stage of life. Shakespeare said the whole world is a stage and every man must play a part. A soul throughout many incarnations plays roles major or minor throughout the game. It is by how well he performs these roles and what he learns from them that in the end he will be judged for his entire career. God arranges a full gamut of experiences good and bad to test and train man to become completely equipped for every good work (perfect).

The lives of a soul is like in a PACman (planned and created man) game. There are many rewards or blessings as well a many dangers and pitfalls whereby we may lose our immediate life (physical). Depending on how well you play the game your physical life can be regenerated and you can continue to play in a new life. There are many levels of play where PACman learns increasing survival and success skills. The problems and the rewards increase with each play.

God a quantum leaps superior programmer than man himself designed a world with the ultimate challenges, diversity, and fascination. This attention to detail by the creator makes life on earth the ultimate experience wherein even the angels envy man. This is even though the angels lives are everlasting. Animals are not creations in Gods spiritual image.

They only have instinct, not reasoning that comes from the spirit inheritance from God. The carnivorous instinct of certain animals are in no way immoral. They are not in control of these and is as designed by God to be. They insure the ecological balance of the earth. If we as man recognize his special nature and superiority over the animals man can avoid becoming beastly like them. Mans responsibility is to care for the animals and the earth and its vegetation.

By mans copying and imitating in his own creations man has produced great marvels not possible without them. The sonar of a bat. The flight and navigation of birds, etc. We are greatly blessed by the quantum leaps superior wisdom of the creator. We criticize ad complain why there exist insects to pester us or rain and snow when we don't want it.

How short sighted that complaining is. Remember the lesson given Job and accept it for ourselves. Where were we when God created the earth and all its wonders. Its a good thing God did not have to consult with us on creation. We would have left out all the good things that makes life enjoyable. We would have forgot to even make sex feel good. Face it. Without God we're dummies.

Evil is a required element allowed in Gods created world to train us to make proper choices. It increases our ability to love, forgive, and have joy. If you haven't had hard times you don't know what good times are.

From all the things God has allowed we have the opportunity to build our living skills to the point of perfection. We will one day with training from God become completely equipped for every good work. The primary factor is recogizing that the key to success is trusting God.

This can't be done if we don't believe he exists. It ts a promise in the final days all men will come to know he exist and is almighty through miraculous workings by God. Though this is so we all are missing out on rich blessings every second we remain seperated from God.

In the end at a time called judgement day our final score will be compiled by Christ to determine whether we remain alive in our relationship with God or everlastingly have our souls seperated from God which is hell.

I never claimed or intended to imply my survey would be able to detect for certain whether people are believers or not. I don't have to make unsupported statements to fight over. I did like you always encourage I presented the facts. The board members know us all well enough to determine what is true or not. Your green personality is forcing you to make much too much of this.

If I'm wrong I'm wrong. This is not a psychic thing. It is IMO another lenguage whereby people tell me exactly how they feel. There is no denying that the large number of people refusing to take the test would most certainly select yellow last which would interpret to what I said yours did.

Your problem is really a disagreement as to what hope is. To try to explain it to you would be just as difficult and impossible as convincing you there is a God. We will forever disagree on it. Best to let it drop. My intent was as always to enlighten and not to battle. Accept it or reject it as you will.

It fits my theory fine Larc. If you saw what I explained to REM at the one exreme (1st position) yellow means belief and at the other (8 position) it means unbelief. Every other position can be every degree of in between. My theory is merely a generalization and is not intended to be a rule. Certainly POM selections is indicative of a contradiction.

Your selections are much easier to explain. If I were to guess from your 3rd place selection I would guess you would class yourself a believer.

I am certain when you say you are agnostic If I pressured you on it you would admit that you really believe God (the creator) exists you just don't accept a traditional view of him. So you are a believer and whatever peace and security that belief provides you brightens your life and naturally gives you a preference for yellow.

The following list is color choices of people on the board sorted by the color yellow. Yellow is the faith indicator. It ranges from extremely optimistic to feeling hopeless.

Anyone who picks yellow first is for sure a believer.

Anyone who picks it last is for sure a atheist.

Anywhere else is varying degrees of belief ad unbelief making them agnostic or believers as the wish to be classed. POM is shocking as he is the first one since I arrived at the theory that has seriously challenged it. As I have pointed out many times already all the atheists save 1 have refused to take the test to thoroughl prove my theory. But you can bet unless they all are willing to lie their last choice would be yellow.

Although I have full confidence in the validity of the color test. the survey just taken is not really about the test but rather is about the color yellow as the faith indicator.

Because of your relunctance to be impressed by the test I will give you a custom analysis of your results and the important thigs to be made note of. Hope you don't mind.

First you selected green meaning your greatest compensation for the stresses in your life is to always be right and to be regarded as special for greater financial and or educational accomplishments. It is painful for you that anyone regards you as having any weakness. This is why I believe you are battlig against the validity of the tests results.

blue is the need for peace. Followed by black makes it a extreme compulsion. Because the only thing that precedes it is green makes the need to be right more important than your need for peace which very well at times will clash.

Third is black meaning you are in rebellion against lifes conditions. You tend to blame others for your failures. Anyone that prefers black will generally reject yellow as you did indicating the light has gone out of their life and they are feeling hopeless about changing the situation.

Fourth is gray which symbolizes a concrete wall. That emphasizes the importance of the three colors chosen beforehand. It conversely means that you want no involement with what the colors chosen afterwards represent. So aside from prestige and having your own way and a compulsive need for peace nothing else in life is of much importance and you are pretty much going through the motions and not becoming deeply involved.

Fifth is brown meaning you are showing inconsiderate concern about the needs of your body. Not going to the doctor as need be, not getting enough sleep or suppressing yourself for whatever reason sexually.

Sixth is red meaning you have a intolerance for excitement and the farther back it is chosen makes one more prone to the possibility of nervous breakdown or cardiac problems. Be careful.

Seventh is yellow meaning the light has gone out of your life emphasized by your preference for black. As well as indicating you are almost a full fledged atheist though you might already consider yourself one. You together with your great preference for green and your rejection of violet to the last place means you are extremely critical and mistrustful.

Finally there is violet meaning you are far too realistic to fantasize or datdream. It is no doubt the source of your great disbelief as you feel belief in God is fantasy. Those who greatly reject violet are best suited for analytical occupations where they can make their criticalness pay off.

Whatever are you talking about. How are you telling me how wrong your test is had you not read the interpretations at my website. The full list of responses were reported the first day. I don't know what you are expecting to see. Thats all there is.

You should have read my posts including the one advertising a book on the test at Barnes and Noble. If you had done so you would realize the test was notmy origination but by a famous French doctor "Luscher". He performed studies on 1000 of people. The mere 100s I personally performed adds to that number.

I'm truly amazed it was so wrong.

It doesn't counteract though 10 years experience with it and the overall accuracy on the board here. At least I so far have only heard it from people who dislike yellow to the last place. Most of them refused even to participate.

That feature in your test absolutely blows my mind and especially that nothing else fits. If you would please just run down for me as you did the color violet why yellow in the last place does not fit you. On the surface it seems very uncharacteristic.
