My ExElder Best Friend Has Coronavirus

my best friend’s wife just called to tell me that my friend had to be hospitalized due to severe coronavirus complications.
he has severe pneumonia, is put on a ventilator and is in a coma .

This has been a horrible month. My best friend’s wife just called to tell me that my friend had to be hospitalized due to severe coronavirus complications. He has severe pneumonia, is put on a ventilator and is in a coma . IF he gets better they expect it to be many weeks that he will be in this condition.
Meanwhile, his wife also was diagnosed with coronavirus and cannot leave her home.
What a terrible situation! And the kicker is they have been isolating themselves in their home for the past month except for occasional food shopping.

she had a wonderful disposition and was just a source of joy to everyone who would meet her.. she was brought to the vet on thursday and seemed to have digestive issues.
the vet gave her medicine and said it would make her sleepy.

Thank you so much, my friends. My girlfriend just took a lovely pic of Mia and I sitting on the steps by the house a few days ago. We just never saw this coming.
Honestly I just feel so bad for my girlfriend. I have never seen anyone cry like this. I had to go to the store but I’m going back there now so I’ll check in later.

Mia was almost 8 and she was the sweetest dog who was my girlfriend’s constant companion. She had a wonderful disposition and was just a source of joy to everyone who would meet her.
She was brought to the vet on Thursday and seemed to have digestive issues. The vet gave her medicine and said it would make her sleepy. By Friday morning we knew the poor dog had something serious going on. We brought her yesterday to the vet and she had severe kidney disease and once blood work was done , he said her condition was irreversible and would have to be put down because she was no doubt in tremendous pain, although Mia never showed signs of it. She was always a peppy dog and within days she just wanted to sleep. We held her until she fell asleep permanently and yesterday afternoon buried her on my girlfriend’s property.
I never really was a “dog person” but I can honestly say I loved that dog.

No abuse, you are right. And people get annoyed if you don’t answer their calls because they assume you have your phone with you. In my state you can’t use your phone while driving. People will say, I know you always have your phone on you, why didn’t you pick up??
