Removing Historic Monuments and Statues - Does the Term "Historical" Make it Right or Wrong?
by RubaDub inafter further review and thought, i really don't see how removing a monument or statue that may be truly offensive to a large group of people is in some way rewriting history.. i think of germany or other parts of europe.
you don't see swastikas on buildings or statues of hitler or mussolini or other upper level generals in public.
would it be good for a person (think jewish) to drive around a city and see hitler in a public park, even though it is "historical?

You see if we remove every trace of anything that is considered objectionable, it’s like the past never happened. Therefore no guilt feelings and now we can move on in a woke existence.

JW.ORG delivering food to JWs in California
by NikL inso a couple of weeks ago my wife (who is an active jw) got a delivery of apples, oranges, potatoes, carrots and onions.. the story i heard was that the "branch bought a bunch of food that would go to waste and was delivering it".. i am in california and a friend of mine in another cong.
50 or so miles away had the same thing happen.. a few days ago we got another delivery and as a matter of fact my wife was asked if she could "help jehovah with delivering his gifts".
unfortunately she is in poor health and unable to so so.. anyway, the story seems fabricated to me and i am wondering what is really going on.. does anybody have any ideas?

by phoenixrising ini have noticed as of late that google searches are heavily filtering searches and shopping.
i know they keep track and monitor your activity but when i can not find things or articles because they don't fit googles bs naritive its time to leave.
duck duck go is my replacement.

Phoenix, I hear ya.
I too would love to see more discussion about BLM and the media and their cohorts views on the prejudices that occur within the black community from other black people. You never hear about black prejudice.... only white. I wonder why that is . Hmmmm

Dav, you are correct. In my experience being raised in the truth LOL, the people that mentored me were black and to this day good friends. Although I must admit they haven’t reached out to me in over a year, This couple always kindly were supportive of me. These friends would tell me of their early life in Mississippi and how difficult it was. Almost half of our congregation was mixed.

My girlfriend’s two lovely nephews are half Italian by their father and half Costa Rican by their mom. The are regularly told by their college educated woke half sister that they are black and should embrace it. They are ten and twelve. In the summertime I am darker than they are. So much for being “ black”.

Lately that’s all I’ve been hearing about! I’m sick and tired of listening to white people begging for forgiveness simply because they are white.
In a nearby town, a six year old girl asked her mom, “ why don’t we have a Black Lives Matter march here??” The town is 99.9% white. The mother was so so overjoyed by her daughter’s question that they organized a peaceful march that had about 100 people in their town square.
Now kids will grow up feeling guilty that they are white and experiencing white privilege. Maybe they also will feel emboldened to destroy neighborhoods and disregard law and order.
This mentality is so disgusting!!!
