I was a teenager when the chess is war article came out and put a very negative spin on the game. However I was a very good chess player and in high school I belonged to a chess club and I actually beat someone who would later be a grandmaster. I kept the chess playing under the radar so that I could become a Pioneer and Ministerial Servant and then become an elder.đź¤

I just read that after a few years Ed died and his wife was very ill in a hospital with mental issues. These kind folks believed in God and the Bible and lived their lives in freedom, real freedom at the end.

I listened to the entire tape. I remembered Dunlap giving talks and I always enjoyed his folksy manner and informative approach. I would think this tape was made many many years ago. Does anybody know what happened to him and his wife?

With a new US administration and more agreement with the powers that be around the world, the press, governments, and people might get along better. Certain people got their way, their wishes were granted so maybe there will be more harmony. Unless of course, if all breaks loose and politicians and the press turn on each other, anything’s possible.
