i have had many insensitive things said to me by some elders, but for some reason one self-righteous elder was always on my case.
he didn't like the fact that i missed meetings, didn't like that i never went out in field service, that i didn't answer at the weekly meetings and he didn't like that i carried my books and magazines in my hands and not a service/book bag.

My take on many elders: they do not have real skills in anything. They don’t understand human nature. They obey whatever rules are dictated to them. Many have no common sense. Some aren’t very bright.

Lol I’m upset I didn’t ask about the sex toys first....I think elders believe believe in “ natural sex” . Having a wet dream I believe is something you should try to correct. Stop dwelling on sexual things and fantasizing at night and don’t wear clothes that are too tight.
so yeah, I think sex toys are taboo . If you use them with your marriage partner just don’t talk about it.

That’s why I would want absolute proof that the person was a killer. If people think they can pretty much get away with murder, they won’t care unless they know that they too could be put to death. It’s balanced.

by pistolpete inso yesterday while i was doing some work for a customer, i noticed the wt mags on the sofa.
and i asked the elderly man if he was a jehovah witness?.
he said that he and his wife and all his children were raised in the religion, but only he and his wife attend the meetings or zoom.

At 80 I’d probably stay wherever I was.However if the rest of my family was leaving and I believed that the religion was phony, I’d never look back. See ya
